Pro Wrestling NOAH Global Honored Crown champ (and former ROH champ) Takeshi Morishima defeated Charlie Haas in a dark match priot to RAW. Morishima was accompanied to ringside by a Pro Wrestling NOAH representative as well as Harley Race.

I'm guessing Vince wanted to see how he wrestles too? I've never been a fan of Morshima.. but this could be an interesting signing.

Yea I was there. He was pretty decent in the ring, nothing special, pretty big guy. He wasn't accompanied by anyone to the ring, that's bull. The fans were actually behind Haas chanting USA USA USA. It was pretty funny.

They signed Danielson awhile back ago but they let him go before his last dark match. I could see Morishima in the WWE but I would have no clue on where to put him. ECW has a big guy and really doesn't need another one, Smackdown is doing fine and really doesn't need any big guys. Raw would squish him imo, he would be lower card. I think it's just a waiting game.. he could get signed tomorrow, he could get signed next year. He could never be signed at all. But WWE mention that they were interested in signing him last year.
