Greatest Superstar? Probably not.

Greatest Heel? Most definitely.

In terms of value to the company right now, he is probably second to Cena. He is way more valuable than HBK, Orton Jericho, Batista, Taker, or even HHH at this point.

Him and Cena are probably the two guys who would be hardest to replace. A heel like Edge can't be created overnight. You can put Edge with any face, and the face would get over with the fans because of their hatred towards Edge. In the ring and on the mic, he does everything that is required of a good heel perfectly.

Edge is the only heel, at this point, who can be trusted to work a main event feud where the focus is on him. They didn't trust Orton with this, the focus was always on multiple faces. They sure as hell aren't trusting JBL with this. His impending feud with Punk is going to be overshadowed by Batista vs Cena.

thats a great way to put it i have to agree with that one

If Edge is the greatest wrestler in the WWE now then it is because of lack of competition. I would have to agree he would be in the top 3 but his wrestling abilities are not THAT great. Of course, Shawn Michaels is way better in the ring and on the mic, same goes for HHH. Undertaker hardly goes on the mic ever, not just in regards to angles with Edge, because he doen't have to, in his case, he has enough presence (and fan backing) to not have to talk too much, plus that is his character, dark, silent, mysterious, etc. He is a classic legend, we are lucky enough we get to still see him wrestle. If we were talking about greatest of all time, Edge would not even be in the top 10. He is up there now by default and I would not go as far as giving him any grand titles just yet. I do give him thumbs up for making it this far though, however, he still has a ways to go before any kind of greatness can be attributed to him like Stone Cold or the Rock or HHH or HBK status.

Of course he is. He, Jericho, MVP, Punk, and Matt Hardy are really all WWHHH has to offer. Everything else has been done. They've recycled feuds from as recently as 2005. Edge really should try a face run to bring in the younger fans they are so eager to appease now.

Im sorry, but neither HHH or HBK are better than Edge on the mic. Edge is a once in a lifetime talent.

Most of the time, HBK sounds like a douchbag and HHH sounds like a guy who just got done practicing lines. Edge is a natural on the other hand.

^^^That's the best summation of both men on that topic. HBK puts on great matches but being around so much and only staying on RAW weakened his on screen character. Triple H? There's nothing more I need to add.

Edge has been a great singles wrestler since 2001. His injury only delayed the inevitable. If he didn't miss a year then really 2005 would've been his big main event a mania year.

I remember him in 1999 vs. the Hardys and the TLC matches and it's quite a sight to watch him now.

Some think that Edge is a great heel and helps fill up arenas. If he is a huge draw, I don't care. They guy can't act for shit. And his in-ring work is certainly nothing better than average.

Cenamark54 Sorry dude but both HHH and HBK are both better on the mic than Edge yes i agree that Edge is wicked on the mic in the ring Hell he is an all round entertainer but Greatest superstar in the WWE he isn't just yet(But will be in the future). Granted when the likes of HBK, HHH, AND MAYBE Taker retire although i don't particularly agree that Taker is all around performer he is a great or greatest superstar Then Edge will be a great or thee greatest superstar in the WWE probs along with Orton and Cena no doubt.
