If he slapped back at USA that’s one thing but he buried Jinder Mahal like he was James Ellsworth. Also no one on WWE side management wise would clap back cuz they have restraint

He was burying the booking of Jinder Mahal. It’s a valid point especially when people do complain about people in AEW getting random title shots when they have a way better record than Jinder does.

Whether not someone in WWE wants to have restraint, or they want to comment really doesn’t matter too much to me. I think people put too much virtue in letting people shit all over you. I think if you want to clap back because people are talking nonsense, you can.

Lastly, I don’t really put too much stock in the differentiation between USA and WWE when they’re an official partner of WWE and the comment where they disparaged AEW was promoting the WWE. If this bothers the WWE being dragged into this, they should probably communicate to USA to no longer mention AEW subject matters in their forthcoming promotion of WWE.

The funny thing is, this is nothing new either. It’s just moved to social media. Vince McMahon used to write letters saying absolutely defamatory shit about Ted Turner to newspapers warning them not to advertise with WCW and then when that didn’t work, he would air skits on the television program, mocking all the wrestlers and Time Warner. Billionaires have been defending themselves and mocking the competition since the very beginning.

Eric Bischoff didn’t do it as strongly as Vince, but he also went on various interviews to talk wicked shit about Vince McMahon, and how bad he thought their programming was and stuff.

Yeah, I’ll be honest I get confused every time this subject comes up either on here or on Twitter. Fans can say the most outrageous shit and no one cares but the moment someone of any status decides to actually speak up about the same things the fans are saying, it’s a big deal.
