TNA drew a solid 1.1 cable rating for last week's edition of Impact. An average of 1.6 million viewers tuned in during the show. The rating is up from the 1.05 and 1.02 of the previous two weeks. The Knockouts were given the main event slot, a match pitting Velvet Sky & Angelina Love against Taylor Wilde & Gail Kim, and they delivered with a show-high 1.18 quarter hour rating. The match did one of the best numbers for an Impact main event, perhaps even ever. And unlike most Impact main events, they didn't lose viewers for a change. The only quarter hour that came close to the Knockouts main event was Q4, which drew a 1.16 rating a Booker T-Samoa Joe in-ring segment, as well as the A.J. Styles promo that followed it and a backstage segment featuring "The Beautiful People" with Shark Boy and Curry Man.

Consequences Creed is said to be in line for a big push in the coming months.

Midway Games has plans to do a big media event this weekend promoting the upcoming TNA "iMPACT!" video game.
The Knockout's are obviously TNA's main draw still, which is pretty sad tbh. Creed getting a push after being done with College is awesome, as I really like the guy.

Yes, how sad is it that women's wrestling is treated seriously. It's beyond sad, it's downright PATHETIC. Why are they wrestling? They should be making sandwiches and taking their clothes off for money. :disgust1:

It's great that the Knockouts are so well received. They're the next best thing to SHIMMER getting a national television deal and I hope they only grow more popular. ODB! ODB! ODB!

Creed deserves the push. He worked quite a few shows for a indy company around here, they had him wrestling a main event style, and he worked just fine that way.

It is sad because the men get paid way more money than the women, especially the main eventers. Yet they are making their ratings off the women. But thanks for trying.

^ Well, technically he IS the 'biggest' thing... wait, no, Awesome Kong tops that. Damn, the Knockouts beat the men at EVERYTHING, lol.

THere's one thing I don't get... The Knockouts is without a doubt the best booked division in TNA (Note:I am taking NOTHING away from the ladies who get it done in the ring), and its also the one that draws the highest ratings.

So why doesn't TNA book all the other divisions in a similar fashion (No over the top BS like we usually get)? If it works with the ladies, couldn't it work with the men as well?

SP...the answer is simple. TNA doesn't know how to book MAIN EVENT rivalries. Some of their side, smaller rivalries, like the Knockouts, are much easier to book, but they put too much pressure on themselves to book Main event stuff, then the show suffers
