cm punk inter..CHAMP???

this just came up on my mind but do u guys think that cm punk best fits in the intercontinental championship division having a rival with kofi kingston and paul burshel and having opertunities on being intercontinental champ instead of WHC. i personally do i think that cm punk is great but he cant main event being on raw. he dosent have the feeling as champ like triple h edge theundertaker and other world heavy weight champions had...wat r your thoughts on this

NO, not at all. And how "can't" he main event on Raw? He already has. He's already beaten Kane and JBL, and beat Batista by DQ as well, and is very over with the crowd. That equals a main eventer.
He's solid on th emic, and great in the ring, so that alone makes him a main eventer, and as I said, he also has alot of fans.
BTW, everyone has to have a first reign where they arent great yet, but Punk is doing the same as alot of others guys with his first reign, so he's way past the midcard.

You are guarenteed main eventer if you make money, mainly from merchandise. Cena is number one, Hardy is number 2, and Punk is number 3. They are the 3 biggest non-veteran stars today. Sure you can be good in the ring, and good on the mic, but you won't stick in WWE if you aren't making Vince rich.

have to agree with u with the first reign thing but i just think that he should of been intercontinental champ or trying to befor he cashed the money in the bank (just like how edge did when he won MITB)so that he would work his way on the top.but as i think of it he did do just that when he was in ecw and also the draft messed it up so he had no time to do it.. so yeah i regret posting this thread..lol:mail1:

Punk is doing fine as World Champion. It also would make no sense to just stick him right back in the mid-card after he was main eventing for the past month.

personally i think he should have stayed in the mid card for like a year, winning some ic championships, before he won the world championship...

A lot of people felt that Edge wasn't over enough to be champ, and his first reign made him look weak. But the second time he won the title, he was an accepted champion. The same thing will happen with Punk. It just shows that it's all part of the growing process. You may not be the strongest looking champ your first time around, but the second time, you've learned how to handle the situation.

I right now feel that Punk is an okay champion... he does well with his mic skills, puts on good promos, and has good matches... but when Orton comes back, who knows what'll happen on Raw with the WHC... I do like Punk as champ and Im not really saying anything bad about him, I just dont like the IC status as of late, I for one am NOT a big fan of Burchill
