The Value of WWE Programming

I was thinking about it today, and how much would you pay to watch a wwe show on your television. What do you think a fair price is to watch a wwe ppv. How much would ECW be compared to SD. WWE to TNA. WWE tv to ppv. You can use whatever currency you like, i'll use american dollars. I put the average. Then the poor card/good card range.

Raw- 2$ average (1-5$ would be my range)

ECW - 1.50$ average (.50 - 3$)

SD - 1.50$ (1.00-3.50)

Normal WWE ppv 7.50$ (3.00- 10.00)

Big Four WWE PPV 9.00$ (5.00- 15.00)

TNA Impact - 1.50$ ( 1.00- 5.00)

TNA PPV - 5.00$ ( 3.00 - 12.00)

Subpar ROH show 5.00$ (3.00 - 9.00)

Good ROH show 10.00$ ( 7.00 - 15.00)

Hmm... Kinda weird, cause Raw has never had a "price" so I don'e really get it. but I guess it's just to see what the show is worth?

This is weird though, as I think you are really going off the scale with the prices... I know this is how much you "would like" to pay for a wwe or tna ppv, etc, but 5 bucks? 9 bucks?
Ok, so that may be what (and others, me included) think it should be like. But I also think alot of other thing's in the world should lower their prices.

But anyways, I guess we're just going by what we want it to be like then? And what we think the value of the program brings... Alright, but for the record, wwe's prices now, shouldn't come down to this. They would collapse at these prices... So if we were going for realistic, I would say wwe ppv's should be around 25 dollars...

This is for each show, barring quality, because i can't predict a good show from a bad one before i already pay for it.

RAW: A dollar.

Smackdown: A Quarter.

ECW: 50 Cents. Yes, ECW entertains me more than Smackdown.

TNA Impact: You couldn't pay ME to watch this show anymore.

WWE Pay Per View: I would buy every PPV if it were 20 Bucks each.

TNA Pay Per View: You just....don't get it....do you...

I'll say this. WWE Pay Per Views are way fuckin over priced.

Bearing in mind the cost of a PPV DVD over here (£25 - £30), the fact that 5 PPVs are broadcast free every year with the rest charged at £14.99, I'm cool with the costs of PPVs.

Breaks down as about £10 per PPV (over the course of a 15 PPV year) which is little more than the cost of a cinema ticket (for twice the amount of entertainment time).

As for normal TV.... Not sure I'd watch it at all if I had to pay... Especially seeing as a large part of the purpose of the TV shows is to promote the PPVs.


I get TNA PPVs (and TV) for free here, but still can't be bothered to watch them.
