Welcome to another of THE Raw review. On tap for tonight, we will find out who the NEW RAW general manager is, and maybe, just maybe, we might actually find out what the RAW title match will be at Summerslam.

John Cena comes out to a "mixed" reaction to start off the show. He admits he made a mistake by punching Batista last week, and he's calling out Big Dave to settle things once and for all. Batista comes out to a huge pop (It was his hometown), and say that he and John are cool, because he knows the punch wasn't intentional.

Both men continue to speak for a bit, and challenge one another for a match, TONIGHT!! Shane McMahon comes out and says he will announce who the new GM is later in the night. Shane says that the GM has made two matches for tonight. Batista and John Cena vs JBL and Kane. Shane also announces that CM Punk will be in action tonight.

COMMERCIAL!!!!

Backstage, Beth and Santino talks about last week's "moment". Santino claims that he is NOT a piece of meat.

Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix vs D'Lo Brown and Kelly Kelly

D'lo dominates early as he hits The Sudden Impact and follows up with a Swinging Neckbreaker. Santino tries to lift D'Lo, but fails. Beth is tagged in and SHE PICKS UP D'LO IN A FIREMAN'S CARRY. Brown escapes, and Kelly tags herself in. She hits some forearms and goes for a Tilt-A-Whirl, but Beth counters that into a Backbreaker. Santino is tagged in, he knocks D'Lo off of the apron, and rolls-up Kelly for the win. Santino celebrates as if he just won the WHC.

Winners:Beth Phoenix and Santino Marella

Post-Match, Santino and Beth shake hands. Santino thinks about kissing Beth, but decides to walk away. Beth pulls Santino by the hair, and she kisses him.

COMMERCIAL!!!!

Backstage, Shane is interrupted by JBL. JBL mentions that he deserves a title shot. He mentions how he beat Cena at the GAB, and how Batista already had his chance (Chances, actually) at the belt. Shane tells him to take it up with the new GM.

Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase vs Jerry Lawler and Jim Duggan (World Tag Team Championship)

A ref runs to the ring and hands Lillian a note. It seems the new GM has changed the match, and instead of teaming up with Duggan, Jerry will team up with... MICHAEL COLE!

COMMERCIAL!!!

Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole vs Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase

Cole SHOULD have taken Tazz advice and gotten his training. Tazz could have made Cole into the CW in like a year (Source:Smackdown vs RAW 2006).

This was about as boring as you would expect. Cody and Ted win after Rhodes Clothesline Cole.

Winners:Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase

COMMERCIAL!!!

We are back, and THE Mike Adamle is on commentary. Lawler joins him soon after.

Jamie Noble W/Layla, is out and he challenges Coffee Kingston (Noble's words, not mine) to a match.

Kofi Kingston vs Jamie Noble (Adamle:Jamaican Me Crazy!!)

This was pretty much all Kofi. Dropkick, Jamaican Leg Sweep, Boop Boop Legdrop, Springboard Crossbody, Trouble In Paradise, this one is over.

Winner:Kofi Kingston

COMMERCIAL!!!

We are back and JBL is on commentary.

CM Punk vs William Regal

We start-off with some nice chain wrestling by both men. Regal takes over with his STIFF offense. He puts Punk's head in the ring post, and boots his face (Probably breaking Punk's nose). Punk tries to make a couple of comebacks, but Regal just continues to stretch Punk in every way imaginable. Punk comes back with some knees, some open hand slaps, and a Roundhouse which gets him a 2 count. Regal hits a Half Nelson Suplex and goes for another submission, but Punk just lifts him up and hits the Go2Sleep for the victory.

Winner:CM Punk

JBL heads to the ring, but Kane also heads to the ring. Kane hits an Uppercut on JBL, who then Big Boots Punk out of the ring (Because Punk ALWAYS has to look like a bitch. JBL and Kane talk trash to one another.

COMMERCIAL!!!

It is time for Jericho's FINAL Highlight Reel. He cuts yet ANOTHER incredible promo which I can't do justice. Jericho mentions how everyone is trying to get a title shot, but says that since he "retired" Shawn Michaels, he should be next in line for a title match.

COMMERCIAL!!!

We are back, and JR is here! He got a call to be on the show.

Mickie James vs Jillian Hall (Non-Title Match)

James goes for the Mickiecanrana early, but gets Faceplanted by Jillian. Jillian hits The Handspring Elbow (Shades of Muta!) for a 2 count. She locks Mickie in a Dragon Sleeper. Mickie blocks a kick and gets a 2 count. Mickie hits a Thesz Press, then goes for the Mick Kick and misses. She hits the Screaming DDT and this one is over!

Winner:Mickie James

Post-Match, Katie Lea comes out and attacks Mickie. Katie says that she hopes the new GM was watching, and that she would be the NEXT Women's Champion, while Paul will be the next IC champion.

COMMERCIAL!!!

SD Rebound, Shane talks crap to Todd Grisham, we get a rundown of the Summerslam card.

Backstage, Batista and John Cena don't trust each other, and tell one another to stay out of the way during their match.

COMMERCIAL!!!

ZOMG, BREAKINGS NEWS!! Shawn Michaels will be interviewed next week.

John Cena and Batista vs JBL and Kane

JBL beats down Cena at the start, until he hits A Throwback on Bradshaw. Batista is in and he Powerslams JBL, but gets kicked by Kane as he was going for the pin. Cena is back in and he Clotheslines Kane to the floor.

COMMERCIAL!!!

JBL hits a couple of Swinging Neckbreakers on Cena, then tags in Kane who hits a Low Dropkick and locks in an ORTONLOCK. Cena gets out of it and tries to fight back, but is met by a Sidewalk Slam from Kane. Kane goes up top for The Flying Clothesline, but Cena moves out of the way and hits a DDT. Cena makes the hot tag to Batista who cleans house. Batista hits a Clothesline on Kane, and a Spinebuster on JBL. Batista runs the ropes, but is low-bridged by Kane. Back in the ring, Kane applies a Body Scissors. Batista tries to fight out and make a tag, but JBL prevents it.

JBL is back in and he goes for The Clothesline From Hell, but Batista counters with a Spear. Kane distracts Batista, which allows Bradshaw to hit a Big Boot on the Animal. JBL goes for a right hand on Batista, but hits Kane instead. Kane is in and he Goozles JBL. Batista Spears Kane, and Cena tags himself in. He hits the FU on Kane, and gets the pin.

Winners:John Cena and Batista

Post-Match, Cena and Batista stare down. Shane McMahon is out and he announces the NEW General Manager and it is... THE MIKE ADAMLE!!! The crowd goes MILD for the announcement.

Adamle announces Cena vs Batista at Summerslam. Batista and Cena stare down as the show goes off the air.

Overall Thoughts: Thumbs in the middle for this week's show. I don't know what it was, but I felt this show lacked something. Regal vs Punk was the MOTN (For me, anyways), because its always fun to see Regal getting beat up and/or beating people up. We still have no RAW main event for SS, but the rest of the card is starting to take shape.

I'm ok with Adamle as GM. Personally, I feel he should be a clueless heel. Think Michael Scott from The Office. I do think that its a bit early for the Cena-Batista match, but Summerslam is one of the company's biggest PPV's, and it makes sense for WWE to stack the card.

Remember to read Kaedon's NSZ, and his SD review. Until next week, I am out!

I think I see where you're going with that, but there is a huge difference there. Michael is just so dumb on his comments that it is funny. Adamle just comes off as dumb and Blue, but it's not in the funny way. You laugh, but not because it's hilarious, but because just plain Blue. IDK, that's my thoughts anyways.

Yes, Adamle looks lame. Raw as the flagship show, they should have brought back Eric Bischof or SCSA. Adamle looks like the heel side of Theodore Long  stale, lame and boring.

Batista vs Cena, i think they need to continue some further stuff in this feud or else it will look like another short feud. Lets hope next week they will make a huge impact to this feud.

I see what you mean Peep. We're not laughing with Adamle, we're laughing at him. Still, he put Michael Cole in a match, that already makes him a good GM in my book.

As for Batista vs Cena, this will probably be the first match in what should be many between the two. With Summerslam only two weeks away, there's not much they can do to build the match up.

Great One

Someone's definitely running in on Batista/Cena... obviously Kane or Orton.

As for Adamle, I think it can be good as I see where they're going (the botching words is completely scripted now =/). But, considering possibly knowing the direction they are taking with this, it can also be really boring, where I like others would have loved a Bischoff return or Shane announcing HIMSELF as the GM (that would be fucking AWESOME!).
