Its time to push ODB

ODB is awesome, she is really over with the fans and could be something very special for TNA if she got the right push. Unfortunately she hasn't been anywhere close to the Knockouts title picture since February I believe, and I don't think TNA has any plans to push her. This could turn out bad because if they wait too long to finally pull the trigger on her push, the fans might already get sick of her and not care. The way I see it, ODB should get a Knockouts title run soon. I really like Taylor Wilde (I think she is one of the hottest knockouts in TNA) and she is great in the ring, but I would have her drop the title in a month or so, to someone like Angelina Love. Yes, I know that might not be the most popular decision but I think they can just give Love a really short run, like 2 weeks then you have ODB challenge her because of her hate for bimbos or something, and she can get the victory and the crowd would eat it all up...

what do you guys think?

I agree completely, the knockout title has had ODB's name allover it since she stepped through the doors. She is so incredibly over! She is massively entertaining, a decent in ring worker and could carry the belt well, the problem is she is so face, and at the moment the champion is face, so it isn't going to happen. My guess is that eventally Angelina Love is going to take the belt, leaving ODB or Gail Kim to take it back off of her.

Yeah I agree with you guys. But it might take them a little while longer to return to her. Their womens division is still really new, and I think they are going through the ringer of finding out which ones really get over with fans and such, and will go from there.

Quite frankly, I don't like ODB, never have, never will, but since they have a face champ, this is a perfect time to push Angelina Love. She is the tougher of the Beautiful People and can do some crazy stuff in the ring. They had their opportunity to push ODB when Kong was champ, ODB was the most qualified physically to take Kong down, but she never got to. She missed the bus.

No TNA failed to put her on the bus, big difference. Secondly people don't get just one chance. I'm convinced that ODB's time will come, she is the most over knockout in TNA, apart from maybe Gail Kim. I do think Angelina Love will held the belt first, but don't disreguard ODB just because they didn't let her take out Kong.

I'm with you on that man. I really can't stand her, I just find her extremely irritating.

She will get the title eventually, probably going after Love. I won't enjoy the reign though.

^ what is irritating about her? I think she is going to be the next big thing for the Knockouts division, and she could be very successful for TNA. She debut as a heel but the fans still really got behind her and Vinnie Russo was like "fuck it" and turned her face. Plus, she is a pretty good wrestler and I'm looking forward to seeing her win the Knockout Title sometime this year

I find her whole gimmick really irritating. I know I'm in the minority here, but I just can't stand her all together. The whole drinking, in your face shit is just annoying to me.

Too bad for ODB but i think the guys are right, they made her miss the bus of Kong, and even if she win the title now from Taylor or Love or someone else it don't have the same valor, the same flavor, cause getting the title for a regular Knockout it's the common way ,but from Kong it can built a legend (well maybe the word legend is too much but you know it's like for Gail Kim the KO division pioneer stuff, ODB could have been the first to beat awesome kong in a title match).
So even if she win tht title soon, she will loose it sometime and then the fans will turn the page.
But I'm sure ODB can do great things and i'm not bored yet of her gimmick so BAAAAM !

I think it's kind of a good thing that you either love or hate her gimmick though, thats what ODB is all about she's in your face, and doesn't give a crap what people think about her, or her reptuation. She is a beath of fresh air in comparison to literally 90% of all womens wrestler gimmicks.

I agree completely, ODB is long overdue for a title run. Hopefully Taylor turns heel soon so ODB can take her out.

yea dude, she is annoying. I mean the crowd chants her name all the time, idk seriously dont know why. It's not like she is the biggest face of the knockout division. She hasn't really done anything special, but she has a huge following...go figure.


btw...that little kick thing she does pisses me off.
