I feel you. I don't think it quite works that way though. Pink Floyd and Rush are well-known, mainstream bands. King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer are fairly well known but you could easily go your whole life without hearing their music if you never made a point to seek it out. The former bands are much more accessible as well, while the latter two arguably require a higher degree of interest in prog rock to really get into.

Fair enough, and I guess I just assume if you listen to Pink and Rush then you listen to other Prog bands such as ELP, King Crimson, Dream Theater, and so on, since you have a taste for that style. Like I figure whoever picked Judas Priest and Maiden would know bands like Witchfinder General, Diamond Head, Grim Reaper, and so on, but all is good. I guess, I was looking for more diversity or more unknown bands compared to the well knows to help people expand band selection and all.
