Rey's first week on Raw, Santino cut a promo on him. This past week, they had a match and Rey went over cleanly. I have to ask, is this going to be like Chris Jericho/Santino Marella or should it continue and have legs of its own?

This shouldn't last go longer than 4 weeks i think. It was a a good way to ease Mysterio back in after his injury. After 4 weeks i would expect him to at least move up and get involved in a feud with a more well known name.
there really is no one big left for Rey to feud with, so this could continue for a while. Obviously, Rey will end up destroying Santino, but I'm sure it won't be a PPV match. After Santino, I could see Rey feuding maybe with JBL.
Well, I see it as a warm up feud for Rey and I don't think it will last very long.
Although, I love Santino's proms, I hate him in a match..
I can see Rey and JBL and hopefully soon Heel Batista.

My view on this is...as long as Rey isn't anywhere near the World Heavyweight Championship...I'm happy. Plain and simple, Rey has no business with being a Main Eventer...he's an Upper-Midcarder at best. So...hopefully they have him fued with Santino for awhile...then have a Jericho fued, and then just throw Mysterio somewhere.
I bet it's done now. They had that little thing there, the confrontation one week and then the match the next week, I think it's done now. If it isn't, it shouldn't go anymore than two more weeks.

JBL vs Rey Mysterio sooner than later. JBL vs Cena can only go much further, God knows JBL will not be champion and in a month or so JBL will be back to taking the backseat to Randy Orton as the top heel
and Santino is not used for long term feuds, he's just paid to cut promos and to get his ass kicked
its not an impressive feud. theres too much going on on raw so fans are barely noticing rey mysterio. if hes not in the top scene on raw then hed be better on smackdown.
no way man.. i freakin love mysterio.. hes one of, if not THE, most entertaining in-ring guys on the roster.. everytime i see him do some of his crazy shit im just like 'oh shit'
I think its just going to be like the Jericho/Santino feud, so I think its just going to be a couple of matches because of his return.
You'd better watch some tapes of his ECW and WCW matches, you would love him very much more. he was the CW in the wrestling world, now he's not anymore.
I reckon this feud is just gonna be a mini feud like burchill/Kennedy was when there is nothing for the upper card guy to do they just put him with a midcarder until there is a storyline for them. That's all it's going to be imo, nothing more, nothing less.
