Who SHOULD Take The Belt From Mark Henry?

With Mark Henry being the World's Strongest (ECW) Champion, who do you think SHOULD take the belt from him on the ECW roster? If you really believe it should be an SD guy, that's fine but that's not the point.

Now out of all the guys, it is hard to judge. I guess I'd say Matt Hardy. He's the biggest face on ECW and until guys like Bourne get a bigger push, they shouldn't touch the belt.

As much as I dislike Henry (And most big wrestlers like him in general), I'd like to see him hold it for a while until another face is pushed to that level. I'd say Matt Hardy, but I really think he's best suited as United States Champion for a while, at least until this fall.

Personally, I'd like to see Bourne take the strap off of him later this year. If there was a Fatal Fourway for the title (Let's just say Henry vs Bourne vs Burke vs Dreamer), then Bourne could pin Burke to win the belt. From there, Henry could demand a rematch since he was never pinned, leading to a David vs Goliath story. In the end, Bourne pins him in epic underdog fashion and goes into to face more athletic opponents from there.

Anyways, I think he should keep it. Noone will tune more into ecw with or without a different champ, it always stays the same for viewership. I think Hardy will eventually take it though, and feud with Morrison.

I like Henry as a champion, and he should keep it. The only other face over guy other than a face is Finlay, but he probably won't hold it for a while. I think that Finlay and Henry know that they're on the back ends of their career and are putting other guys over now. The ECW title in general will help the younger guys get over with the crowd, beating "big names" like Finlay, and Mark Henry.

i say Elijah. he really shouldve kept the old gimmick but i see him becoming champ. he needs a push since he is going to be the future of the WWE. its too soon for Bourne imo. i know he's talented but he isnt ready. especially against a giant. he will have, should have plenty of title reigns in his career as well as Burke. but one more run for Dreamer would be pretty sweet.

Probably the only gold the guy's gonna win now and he deserves a good run - I think he's been really entertaining of late. Book him strong, have some of the more athletic guys REALLY take it to him yet still lose and have Henry as a long-term champ...

It'll only benefit whoever does finally beat him.

I can see Henry holding the strap for a while, not a long time but a couple of PPVs at least as reward for the racial attack he suffered!

That being said I want Hardy to get that strap, get the US title back in the mid/upper card on SMACKDOWN! and have a proper Matt Hardy v John Morrison feud over the ECW world title, I think that has the potential to be the feud of the year!

My guess is Finlay. The only feud really sticking out at the moment for the ECW title is against Finlay imoand I think that WWE are gonna give Finlay a final title run like they did with Kane but on the other hand I can't see Finlay with the ECW title with Hornswoggle by his side.

I could see Finlay with the strap, then have Morrison screw him out of it in a couple of months and it could lead to a Morrison v Hardy feud and you could even add Miz into that

no one, Mark Henry is the worlds strongest wrestler. It's about time he wins a major title, the guy can life a car. It gives the title credibility in a sense of making it realistic.

After he holds the belt for about 2 years Jeff hardy should beat him and only defend it in TLC, Ladder, hardcore., etc... That'll make Ecw exciting, fun, and old fashioned again. That's what should happen... maybe not necessarily with jeff hardy but someone with a fast paced style...

And finally the idea that Should happen, but definitely won't, is Rob van dam
coming back and doing the same thing i said before. He could defend the title in different specialty matches that will be exciting.

I don't know what actually will happen, so im gonna tune in to find out

Henry will keep it for a while either to the survivor series or sometime late fall or winter who knows who will be on the ECW roster then maybe show in a giants mans war. Really Finaly deserves a title run he gets over with the fans.
