THE DRAFT!! That's all you need to know. We are live from San Antonio, Texas and your hosts are Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler... And Michael Cole and Mick Foley... and Tazz and Mike Adamle. They give out the password for the giveaway which is NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS.
The draft format will be similar to last year's. HHH is first out and he will face Mark Henry with the winner getting the Number 1 pick for their respective brand.
HHH vs Mark Henry (1st Pick on the line)
I'll keep this short. Mark Henry dominates most of the match, he hits a Vader Bomb (Which I now dub.. The Stank Bomb!) but HHH gets his foot on the ropes. Henry gets an Ortonlock. HHH escapes and hits the Face-Buster then knocks Mark down with the High Knee. Trips goes for a Pedigree, but Mark counters into the World's Strongest Slam for a near fall. Henry misses a Big Splash attempt, walks into a Pedigree and this one is over.
Winner:HHH
With the 1st pick, in the 2008 WWE draft, the RAW brand selects... Rey Mysterio! He and Trips shake hands, and its time to give away some money. Of course, since I'm not eligible for this, I won't recap it. Instead, you get this.

We are back and HHH is congratulating RAW on the move. Cena interrupts them (WHAT A JERK >_>) and he and HHH exchange verbal jabs. HHH says that Cena is nothing until he takes the belt away from him.
Finlay & Hornswoggle vs Santino & Carlito (Winners get the 2nd pick)
Finlay boots Santino's face at the start, he tags in Hornswoggle who hits a mini-stunner. Horny tags in Finlay who gets Clotheslined Santino. Marella tags in Carlito and he pummels Finlay in the corner. Santino is tagged back in, walks into a Clothesline and gets hit with the Celtic Cross and SD gets the win!

With the 2nd Pick, SD selects... JEFF HARDY!! Jeff comes out and does his stupid dance. Randy Orton (W/Arm Sling) is in the back staring approvingly. Somewhere, Batista is starting at Orton disapprovingly. More money is give away.

Chavo Guerrero & BAM NEELY (With infinite awesomeness) vs Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes (With infinite Superstar Points)
This was pretty short. BAM NEELY dominates both Holly and Cody. Chavo is tagged in and gets his ass kicked. Cody gets in the ring and tries to toss out Chavo who skins the cat. He lands right into the Alabama Slam position and this one is over!
Winners:Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes (I blame Chavo for the loss)
With the 3rd pick, RAW selects.. CM PUNK (FUCK YEAAAAAAAH!!!!). Jericho is in the back and he is walking towards the ring.

Chris Jericho is out for a promo and we get a video package of Shawn turning on Jannety, Nash, Hogan, Cena and faking the knee injury against Batista. Jericho claims that only one man understands him.. Lance Cade. Cade pops up on the titantron and says that he attacked Shawn before Michaels had a chance to turn on him. We get a replay of Shawn getting his smashed into the obscenely expensive Jeriton 6000 (In HD) two weeks ago.
Shawn comes out and we have a brawl! Both men end up on the outside, where Jericho tosses face first into the announce table and Shawn just messed his eye up again.

The Miz and John Morrison vs The Hardys
It was supposed to be Miz and Morrison vs Ryder and Hawkins, but Vickie changed the match. Good back and forth match between both teams. Jeff played face in peril until he makes the tag to Matt who just cleans house. Jeff hits a Pescado to Miz on the outside. Matt goes to the second rope and hits the legdrop on Morrison. Miz breaks up the pinfall attempt which allows Morrison to roll up Matt (And grab his pants) for the pinfall.

Time for the next pick and ECW gets... MATT HARDY!

This next match has a twist to it. Only backstage announcers and commentators can be drafted with this pick.
Mickie James & Melina vs Natalya and Victoria
Melina wrestles most of this match. Melina kicks Victoria and hits a Thesz Press. She gets an Inside Cradle but only gets a two count. Victoria kicks Melina then Irish Whips her into the corner. Melina goes up top, but gets pushed off by Victoria and Melina hurt herself on the fall. We get a Double DQ after some confusion. Update:According to PWinsider, Melina's injury WAS legit.
Winners:NO ONE!!
SD gets Jim Ross and Michael Cole goes to RAW. Either JR is a hell of an actor, or he was really pissed.

Edge vs John Cena
Your typical match between Cena and Edge... Which means it was damn good and the crowd was very hot for it. Cena tries to hit the FU on multiple occasions but Edge managed to counter each time. Cena locks in the STFU but Edge makes the ropes. Edge goes up top but Cena tries for a Super FU. Edge escapes and shoves Cena to the outside. Edge tries for a move from the apron, but Cena just catches him and lifts Edge up in the Fireman's Carry position. Cena carries Edge up the steps, but Edge escapes again. Cena punches him out and makes it back into the ring in time for Edge to get counted out.
Winner:John Cena (Via Countout)
RAW drafts Batista!! Cena and Batista stares down. Edge waves goodbye to Big Dave. Batista did not approve.

JBL vs Kofi Kingston
Kofi got in a lot more offense in this match than one would expect. JBL finally starts to dominate and locks in a Beahug. Kingston escapes, boots JBL, gets the Mounted Punches in the corner then knocks JBL down with a Dropkick. Kofi goes up top and tries for a Crossbody Block, but JBL moves out of the way and hits The Clothesline from Hell for the victory.

RAW drafts... KANE! (WHAT THE FUCK?!) Tazz is pissed, and I can't really blame him.

15-man Tri-Branded Battle Royal (Winning brand gets two picks)
There is no way in hell I'm recapping all of this. Team ECW is out early (What a surprise!). Edge and Batista have a nasty collision as both men went for Spears and smashed their heads. Batista was busted open instantly. Last 4 men are Show, Edge, HHH and Cena. HHH and Cena team up to eliminate Big Show. Cena turns on Hunter and tosses him out. Edge uses his ultimate opportunist powers to throw out John Cena and win the Battle Royal for Smackdown.
Winner:Edge and SD!!!
SD drafts Mr.Kennedy (Who SHOULD have a ready-made feud with Edge after last year) and... Triple F'n HHH!
Vince decides to give away more money, but shit starts going crazy, he falls of the stage, the set falls on him. I don't what the hell to say other than ROFLMAO as the EMT's and the wrestlers try to help Vince. All the while, McMahon was calling out for Paul (Bearer? HHH? Burchill? London? Heyman?). Vince shouts that he can't feel his legs as we get a ghostly figure of a Canadian wrestler to end the show (Note:That last part might not have happened).
End show.
Overall Thoughts:Remember how last year SD got raped? Well, it was ECW's turn this year. They only lost two wrestlers.. Of course, those two were Punk and Kane (THE ECW CHAMPION!). SD looks pretty good with the additions of Jeff Hardy, HHH (For now anyways) Umaga and Jim Ross. ECW got Matt Hardy and that was it. RAW (To the surprise of no one) was the big winner as they got Kane, CM Punk, Batista, and Rey Mysterio (No one cares about Cole!). The ending to the show was... it was stupid. I don't know how this will turn out, nor do I care. Still, a very good show this week for RAW.
