Should ROH bring back the pure title?

I haven't seen a pure match because I can't afford $20 for a DVD (I can barely afford cable) and they don't let you put their matches on Youtube, but the rules sound pretty interesting. Besides, a wrestling promotion just isn't complete without a midcard title, and all ROH has is the World and Tag titles. Sure they have the FIP titles, but they're like Smackdown to Raw.

I think that once Nigel drops the World Title he will bring back the Pure Title. I miss the pure wrestling matches.

The booker Gabe, doesnt like midcard titles. Theres no point what so ever of bringing in the pure title now that they brought in the NWA championship. Plus the FIP title is floating around too. Yes pure rules do deliever a interesting twist to the match, however the title isn't needed.

i forgot the exact reason, but something to do with qualifying wrestlers in a lower class. He's wants it to be more even, everyone has a shot at a world title.

The Intercontinental title once got unified with the World Heavyweight title when HHH beat Kane, and it got brought back. Remember, it was during the angle when HHH accused Kane of "murdering" his crush, Katie Vick.

I'd rather have the FIP Title than the Pure Title. even though the Pure Title had a nice place in ROH during the 2004-2005 era, it wouldn't fit in my mind now. The FIP Title is better because you don't really need the rules, and there could be more different match types, just look at the great feud between Strong and Stevens.

And I think the one ROH Singles title is because Gabe Sapolsky wants to make it more like NOAH, with everyone chasing only one title. In NOAH, they have the Heavy and Junior Singles and Tag Titles.

yeah uhh i might be in the minority here...but i hated the pure title, it was just stupid in my eyes, im glad they got rid of it.

I'm with you, it had way too many complicated rules. 3 rope breaks per wrestler? 20 counts? I'll pass.

i agree with that... Plus i don't want ROH to bring a championship back and it gets whored around....

The Pure Championship had it's fun... Maybe in the long future when they get more bigger and popular.. but at the Moment the ROH/Tag belts and the other championship, they don't need it...

It was unified with the World Title for a reason. Montana pretty much laid it out already, Gabe wants the wrestlers to chase for one title making it an even field for everyone. Plus the FIP title is already around and being defended on ROH which brings more than the Pure title because it can give us a variety of matches to watch rather than a "pure" match each and every time.

Yeah, I mean the Pure Title was alright, but it wouldn't be too good now. Plus I loved 'pure' matches where Nigel used the iron to win lol. That could not happen anymore.
