Are there any good big marquee matches left in the WWE? I mean with HHH/Cena and Batista/Edge going at it AGAIN and Taker being gone, I dont see there being any HUGE fresh mains to come for a while. Say Batista, Jericho, HBK, and MVP switch shows (which will never happen) we still dont have any really NEW matches, just redone ones. Edge/HHH has been done, to a point, I guess MVP and Cena could get into it, but is MVP a ME? What do you think? :sq_yellow_huh:

Well, definately not as many at one point. But in a year, there will be. Right now, the only people we see as being able to pu ton marquee huge matches are the big names... But in a year, some lower card guys, and younger guys, will become new top guys, and we will be talking about a marquee matchup between that new top guy and John Cena, etc... So when they produce new stars, there will be new marquee matcheups...

But in the meantime, with the guys we have, heres some that I can think of (we may have seen a few of them once, but still)Also, Edhe/HHH hasnt been done. It was a triple threat match, so thats completely different, it was mostly Cena/HHH or Cena/Edge...

Triple H vs Edge
Edge vs Orton
Cena vs Batista
Batista vs Orton
Jericho vs Orton
Mysterio vs Cena
Kennedy vs Edge
MVP vs Kennedy

Well John Cena could fued with Batista, either if one of them were drafted or they could have another interbrand fued ( wouldnt enjoy that but it would be popular).

Chris Jericho and Edge would be a good fued, it may have been done a while ago but it wouldnt have been as popular as it could be right now...

HHH could have a good fued with JBL imo, both good and if they got JBL as much heat as he had when he was holding the title it would be awesome (or if they got him nearlly as hated as then).

Mr Kennedy could fued with nearlly any big heel atm and MVP could fued with any big face imo, they are both up to it...

Their are quite alot more it just involves drafting a couple of guys...(I will be back to put in more:p)

MVP vs Shawn
Punk vs Shawn
MVP vs HHH
MVP vs Cena
Punk vs Cena
Mysterio vs Shawn (It happened at the Eddie tribute show, but that was it).

Hell, most of the "big matches" that we haven't seen yet involve the same couple of people.

I dont think Kennedy, Punk and MVP can be involved in like Cena/HHH (back when it was fresh) type matches. They are still under card guys. HHH vs. Edge has been done kinda, so has Jericho and Orton. But yea Batista/Orton and Batista/Cena are the two I guess that could be HUGE. I just dont see CM Punk vs. HHH being the same as Batista/Orton.

I would like to see Big Show and Kane in more of these...

Kane vs Batista
Kane Vs Cena
Big show Vs Batista
Big show Vs HBK
Umaga Vs Big show maybe...
Jeff Hardy Vs Kane or Big show or Batista
Jeff Hardy Vs Chris Jericho
Jeff Hardy vs HBK

^ alot of those are new and could be pretty good...

I am still waiting for Y2J vs. Cena one more time. Jericho got fired because of Cena and that would be a great selling point. That's what would have happened if Cena wasn't injured. Cena would have taken down Orton in the HIAC at Cyber Sunday and Jericho would come out the next night and would have challenged him for the belt. It is ridiculous..

HHH vs. Edge has been done kinda,

Dude, damn you and that, lol... They had ONE match, and it was a triple threat, which was two and a half years ago. HHH/Edge would be a great feud/match.. The didnt have any kind of feud back when they fought, it was more Edge/Cena or HHH/Cena... And int he match, they hardly touched eachother:laugh:

Batista vs Orton
Rey Mysterio vs Undertaker
Rey vs HBK
Cena vs Undertaker(has been done, but not with SuperCena, that would make it different)
Batista vs Cena
Y2J vs Undertaker
HHH vs CM Punk
MVP vs John Cena

I do not included Kennedy as he is a plain midcarder right now. MVP could easily jump to main event at any brand with just one damn VIP Lounge. Punk has MITB. He just needs one credible feud and he will be a main eventer. I could throw there Edge vs Kennedy, Kennedy vs Orton, Orton vs CM Punk, but that dont sound as big draw matches, just interesting ones.

I think there a few;

Cena vs Batista being the obvious one.

You also have HHH vs Edge, Orton vs Batista, and possibly Orton vs Edge.

That being said, its obvious they need to start pushing the Punk's Kennedy's and MVP's of the world. Let them sink or swim so to speak.

With all due respect to Jeff Hardy, Big Show, Jericho and Rey Mysterio, there are only 7 legit main eventers at this point, Cena, Orton, Edge, HHH, Batista, HBK and Taker. We need some new guys who are able to compete with the main eventers and look legit doing so.

DING! DING DING!

Cenamark wins the topic by pointing it out. Lack of stars (Be it by WWE not making them, or some blowing their chances due to drug use) is really hurting the WWE. All the "big money" matches that are left involve the same group of people that have been DOMINATING the ME scene these past couple of years.

I think the one man everybody is forgeting is JBL, years ago he was easily the biggest heel in all of the WWE, and now he is just a guy who puts everyone over...I really think if they had him fued with HHH and smash him and throw him around a few times that JBL would be mre hated then ever or atleast nearly because whoever hurts HHH is istantly hated imo so HHH vs JBL would be the next best thing after HHH and Cena...

I don't remember seeing a HHH/Taker feud. They've always been on separate brands, I think it could be a really big time feud.

I've never seen HHH vs Deadman 'Taker.... Or did I miss something? (WM17 & KOTR02 he faced bad-ass and Big Evil respectively).
