Snake is back. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is getting the remake treatment. Konami also announced it is releasing the original games back on digital storefronts.

trusting Konami without Kojima - is my biggest nervous vibe. Although - it would make me buy a PS5 if it brand new content

This might be a bit of a controversial opinion, but...

I think moving on from Kojima as far as the Metal Gear franchise goes might be the best decision long-term. How they departed was shit and completely disrespectful, but the issues with Metal Gear Solid 4 and 5 can't really be understated, there was a lot of problems, both with the writing and scripting and attempting to tie everything together. Starting over with MGS3 might be a very good thing for Konami.

The good news is its not a new game so all they have to do is not fuck up the source material.

New mgs without koj were ass and koj games without konami also ass. Its a weird situation.

I think re4 remake gave me hope these remake projects can be good sans og ceew though

Fwiw i think 4 is amazing still, even if some things didnt quite add up story wise.

I did not like 5 at all though, id never replay it

These days since I don't have the dough I get enjoyment seeing Watchthroughs of Games and hearing this News is awesome. I still remember being in High School and playing Snake Eater loving that Game and I still own MGS 2 for my PS2 just footsteps away from me.

i honestly feel - if Konami. Created a new franchise - and used the gameplay stye from MGS5 - they could be onto the winner. And I wont bring up the MGS5.5 Zombie Fail
