Cruisers?

ITS TIME! I think it's time for the Cruiserweight belt to be brought back... TBH, I didnt see why they got rid of it... They have some good cruiserweights, but they just never use them. And I guess it became a laughingstock when 'swog got the belt, so they realised they needed to end that shit... But now, I think they could have a solid cruiserweight division...

It's actually looking like a good division, and good put on some good matches. Also, everyone in there has different styles. Some guys are small, but have a tough style (Helms, Noble, Carlito) and then you also have the high-flyers...

I was thinking they could have some huge gimmick match at a PPV when it returns too, and they could really put on a great match.
Anyone else think "its time"?

Yeah it should be brought back. It would give something to do for the wrestlers that arent doing anything and the jobbers that are useless in wwe. I dont see reymysterio going for it since hes one of the popular superstars.

Theres alot of good cruiserwieghts that the WWE doesnt use to their advantage. I have high hopes that with the draft the will move alot of the cruiserweights to one brand and then have a legitimate division for all the cruiserweights to battle for the title.

That doesnt make any sense. Why have cruiserweight WRESTLERS but not have a cuiserweight division? Big mistake on the WWes part, imo. And that whole thing with another Divas belt is Blue as well. They dont have enough divas who can actually wrestle to bother having two belts. What are they going to do, rotate them around between Victoria and Nattie on SD and Beth, and Mickie on Raw. Thats real exciting. Hopefully the divas will move around after the draft too. Not that it will matter. There isnt enough divas to spread around period. Ones with any modicum of talent anyway.

and thats not bookings fault...
I mean if they had the cruiserweight title around nowadayz,
I still wouldn't care for it...its basically just another hardcore title in the sense that its an aftertought for most people and that anyone can win the belt....


I dunno.....womens titles? cruiserweight titles....I say vacate them all cause who honestly cares about crusierweight matches/diva matches and such?

That should be the name of the championship and it should be brought back to ECW not Smackdown or RAW, everything that happens next is quite predictable isn't it?

I remember the Jamie/Palumbo feud, that feud is quite good for Jamie but after that, nothing happened because there is no title for Jamie to fit in. I just hope that they put back that title.

like honestly, lets say you're sitting in a classroom doing a math test, its wednesday, and all you can think about is wrestling.
Lets say like on WWE.com the other day, announced a huge-cruiserweight open for the debuting Cruiserweight title...

would that match be on your mind?


for me personnaly,
no...cause like whenever there was a cruiserweight match, either on ppv or on free television, and the title changed hands, it wouldn't have or really uplifted me at all, it'd be like..."k,so like..whats coming up next?" and such. same for the women's championship, I just honestly couldn't really care less for the "lower" titles and such, its just a complete afterthought for most people, which is why I approve of WWE's decision to defunct the cruiserweight title....it was honestly there for basically no reason, the cruiserweights never had any really-jawdroppingly cool stories at all, no real build-up to title matches, just two little guys running really-really fast at each other for no reason really...I dunno, I kinda don't dig that kind've stuff , I like to see a reason between two/or people wanting to tear each other apart for a belt....not just two little guys, that can't cut promos , running really fast and hitting in a moonsault randomly whenever a crowd begins chanting "BORING!"

I agree, man... Having it as the hardcore title could be a great idea, as it would help get those guys over... Lets face it, the fans just generally arent in to "making noise" for the cruiserweights, unless something "extreme" happens, and so this would definately put on some better matches and get fans into it... It could be on either SD or ECW, doesnt matter...

Exactly, the only reason we hear quiet noises and chants from the crowd during cruiserweight action matches are because some cruiser weight either takes a leap off the ropes or executes a great move they aren't really interested in the division itself.

They just need to get off air with the Vince McMahon/ New ECW Vision, it's old and is getting boring already. Something extreme in ECW would get fans and attention for your organization not a million dollars handed over to a random fan who tunes on to RAW. :disgust:

Well I would really like the CW title to be brought back and sometime soon would be the best time. I really like the CW division and thats where Rey Mysterio was brought up

If they brought that back I think it could draw more fans to Smackdown and they would make some great matches imo, I also like all the wrestlers that MikeRaw had listed in the first post. Carlito and Jamie Noble would finally be pushed and all the other jobbers atm...
