How is the draft going to work between Smackdown and ECW...They already pretty much share a roster so what would be the use of sending someone from Smackdown to ECW as either way there still goin' to be wrestling for both shows anywas...Do you think the whole shared roster thing will drop before the draft?!?!?

Discuss...

Ya. They will still be wrestling on eachothers shows, but only how it is now. And thats only on occasions, liek for the wwe tag titles, and edges stable, other than that, its rare for them to cross shows.
But I assume it will stay the same way, but they will still have seperate brands for SD and ECW in the draft...
Possibly after this wwe will stick to the brands more anyways.

ECW will probably change to an alliance with Raw over the Summer - Heat is ending, meaning that the WWE are going to tape ECW before Raw now.

This is what I can't stand about the Brand Extension. No brand can outshine Raw. I can remember when Smackdown had kickass matches and storylines and Raw was sucking (I believe this was when Paul Heyman was in charge of Smackdown). Then they screwed everything up and Smackdown became worse than WCW Thunder and Raw became the Alpha show. It also affects Payperviews because they have what, 60 people under contract but only like 20-25 people get on PPVs.

I agree with some of that, but not others...

I disagree, when you said SD was better than raw back then, I dont think so, and also, they improved Raw and made it the clear number show again for a reason, because thats the way its supposed to be... IMO, it doesnt which is the A show as long as I get an A show, lol.

But I agree with what you said about the PPVs. If Im reading what your sayin right, your saying that they shouldnt have tri branded ppvs right?
I think that too, because now, theres no room for guys like in the lower mid card, but who are still good. And as a result, wwe doesnt bother putting those guys in feuds cause theres no point.
But if theyre going to keep tri branded ppvs, they should get rid of some, lol.
I mean, back in the day, they had the same amoutn (like 2004, 2005) but they were half raw, and half sd, so you didnt have to order the SD ones, or if you liked SD, you didnt have to order Raw. But now, theyre all on the same brand (for ppvs) but they kept all the ppvs . They need to get ri of some. Anyways, ya, I think they should either get rid of some ppvs, or at least go back to seperate brand PPVs. Although theyd have to make smackdown a good brand that can stand on its own again first.

I would keep 4 multibrand PPV's (Rumble, Mania, Summerslam, and Survivor Series) and have the other 8 months divided among the two brands (and end ECW and merge it with Smackdown). The months that one brand doesn't have a PPV they could do a special episode on regular TV. Seriously 15 PPV's a year is too much. That is not enough time to adequately build secondary storylines and feuds.

Raw will be feeding talents to the other two brands. And yes, there will be less sharing of superstars between SD and ECW, as ECW will be tapping just before Raw instead of being with SD! before.

I think they should just do a draft between raw and smackdown and just have smackdown superstars go to ecws show.

I'm assuming SD will stand alone now (cos of the ECW tapings issue). I just prey they get the benefit of an expanded roster after the draft cos overwise Raw will be dipping into ECW whenever they see fit... Meanwhile we'll be still stuck with a 3-man ME scene and a wafer thin mid-card on SD.

I'm getting impatient... Come with the draft already!!!

I just noticed, the draft is before Night of Champions, do you think that the draft will affect the card, or can we already give as a fact that the current title holders for Night of Champions will not change brands?

It probably won't affect the card that much...

I think they should end the sharing of rosters between ECW and SD before or after the draft and I think SD would benefit in the draft but not ECW. I just wish they let Jericho move to Smackdown and have a feud with Edge.

Yes, I'd imagine all title holders would stay put.

As for N.O.C. there's next to no build-up for the matches and I think generally they'll all be 'so-called' contenders matches rather than fued matches, so all the stars should have a nice clean break and have clear agenda's for their new shows (where applicable); thus being their last match for their old brand.

Unless they win of course... Which is kinda what's gonna spoil the 'supsense' of the PPV... Only those remaining on the same roster have a hope in hell of winning. (Not saying it's not possible to stray from what I have written but it'll take some damn creative writing and booking which, quite frankly is way beyond the 'gear' that creative are currently cruising in.)
