Looks like TNA found a way to bring in the King Booker gimmick without a cheesy name like King Booker. I have no idea how I feel about this, I mean King Booker is basically the only way Booker T can act heel, anything else you can see right through, but this looks like it can turn out pretty well, TNA needs a full blooded strong heel, because TNA has been real if-y lately with faces and heels.

Discuss "Royal T."

lol I love that name

I dont like it.
Firstly, plain and simple, I dont like that gimmick on him. Id rather him just be a normal heel, or ven a face if it really had to come to that, I just hate the King gimmick. Hopefully they dont go all the way with it, but either way, I dont like any royalty gimmick.
But I guess if it stays how it is now, where hes not acting like a king, and instead just calling himself royalty (which seems weird) is decent.
TNA has enough over the top gimmicks in Abyss, James Mitchell, Sharkboy, Eric Young, etc, when their supposed to be known for their wrestling skills.

I dont think TNA is going all the way with it, its just a line that he can use during his promos.

Royal T is going to be a alternative persona of Booker T. It's like Mick Foley, he is going to be half Booker and half Royal T, he is going to be tweekin'

"Royal T" Ha Ha it goes pretty good! As long as he doesn't start wearing capes and crowns and whatnot...

As long as he doesn't start wearing a cape and crown, i'm fine with this. Calling his enemies 'rodents' and himself 'royalty' is a pretty unique trait, so he might as well do it.

I hate seeing him back wearing a crown but I missed calling his opponents and the fans as peasants.

Most likely this gimmick won't happen.

For one thing the idea, even with it minor tweaks, is too simular to 'King Booker'.

Second, just because it worked in the WWE doesn't mean it will in TNA.

Third, its just unnecessary.

And forth, Booker T himself is ALREADY OVER with the fans so changing his gimmick is just outright pointless. Why fix something that's not broken?

I didn't like the King Booker gimmick in WWE, let's see how this gimmick goes in the future in TNA.
