This is from ROH.com

Ring Of Honor returns to Hartford on June 6th with the most important event it has ever held in Connecticut. Jay Briscoe has surrendered the ROH World Tag Team Titles. The next champs will be determined in a one night tournament to be held June 6th in Hartford, CT at the conveniently located Connecticut Expo Center (check www.ctexpocenter.com for building info and www.ROHwrestling.com for tickets).

The reason Jay Briscoe vacated the titles is looked at in the current ROH Video Wire at ROHvideos.com. The next ROH Video Wire will have even more details. It has been a tumultuous year for the belts. It is obvious that any team can win them and the titles can change hands at any time. Will this tourney bring stability to the titles? Here is a look at the brackets for the eight team tournament in Hartford:

First Round Matches:

A) Jigsaw & Ruckus with Julius Smokes vs. Adam Pearce & Chris Hero with Larry Sweeney & Sara Del Rey

B) ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness & Go Shiozaki vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico

C) Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black vs. Delirious & Pelle Primeau

D) Austin Aries & Bryan Danielson vs. FIP World Heavyweight Champion Roderick Strong & Davey Richards

Semifinals:

A winner vs. B winner
C winner vs. D winner

Finals:

A/B winner vs. C/D winner

I personally think that this is going to be a great night!!! I like to watch all of these superstars and I will definatly be watching...

(I will edit this with my predictions)

El Steenerico better win the ROH World Tag Titles or else I riot (while listening to Quiet Riot).

I'm rooting for Steenerico, but I can't shake the feeling that ROH will try to go for an AoTF vs Danielson/Aries final. They can continue tp hype up the Aries-Jacobs feud while the tag titles to the mix.

Yeah I hope Steenirico win the titles, I have been wanting these guys to win the tag titles for a very long time and this is there chance :)

I think in the final it will be Steenerico Vs Danielson/Aries which will be my dream match since there probably my 4 favourite ROH superstars...

And as much as I would also love to see that match I think Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs will make their way into the final to face Steenerico, it can't be Aries/Danielson Vs Black and Jacobs in the final because they are in C and D which face each other in the semi finals so if they make it to the semi's then they will have to lose to the other team to make it to the finals so I think it will be Steenirico Vs one of those two teams...either way it will be great!!!

I think it's coming down to three teams (Steenerico, AOTF, Team Work) For some reason i'd like to see Team Work win, although Steenerico would probably provide better shows. None the less, should be some great matches.

I'm pulling for Steen and Generico too, but Team WORK has a pretty good chance too, which would help fire up their feud with AOTF. Steen and Generico would make the better long term champs, and I'm still demanding a match with them against MCMG at the next Manhattan Show (Manhattan Mayhem III?)
