-- Rey Mysterio was scheduled to return to the ring from bicep surgery next month. However, the company has pulled him from all house shows in June. No return date for Mysterio has been set either. WWE had plans for Mysterio to return at One Night Stand on 6/1 because its in his hometown of San Diego, but that's obviously off the cards. Additionally, prowrestling.NET is reporting that there is plenty of second guessing going on amongst officials on the decision to allow Rey to opt for a new surgical procedure that was supposed to reduce his recovery time from six months to six weeks. Mysterio acquired an infection during the initial surgery that led to even more procedures. Mysterio opted for a local surgeon that has been sued multiple times for malpractice instead of renown surgeon Dr. James Andrews.

Ya I read this a few places earlier today and yesterday.
I like Rey, hes one of my favorites, so I want to see him back.
But he got injured in otober 2006, came back at summerslam 07, got injured in september of 07 again, and will be out til most likely october this year IMO... That means hes been active for about 3 months out of the past two years... Thats a tought 2 years.

Looks like he's not helping himself by going to shoddy doctors.

Its all Rey's fault. He should have gone with the regular procedure instead of trying out something new. Sure, he would taken longer to heal, but he would actually be you know... HEALING!

I see it more as stupidity from his side, going to the doctor who had been in malpractice problems, instead of the well known Dr. Andrews

Good, delay Rey's return as long as possible. It takes him about two weeks to tear something, so delay the return so it seems like his injuries are further apart than they actually are.

His return should be pushed back, no need to rush him back to the ring when he's not 100% and has a chance to re-injury himself.

Rey Mysterio is way too jacked now, which is probably which makes him get more injured in places other than his knees. Because the muscles are so tight, it has more of a chance to tear than if he was as less muscular. And a smaller Mysterio means more flying for him.
