Haven't really made a signature in a while, and since I was bored, I figured I'd whip something up. I've only used this technique once, and the layer mask was only on one side of the sig. Comments and Feedback are appreciated, especially on how to blend the 2 main pics so it doesn't look all conjoined and stuff :/

Hasn't that afro guy toke his place on Impact? But to the sig I think the colors are great. I like how you used both pics on both sides.I also like how you has his saying showing. The only part I think is weird it looks like he conjoined wit himself & there looks like there is something white sticking out of his back.

pretty cool sig, nice blending of the two renders in the middle, im a fan of repeating pics or usage of one pic. overall i think id give it an 8.5/10.

why your watermark mirrored?
anyway, here are some things i would like to talk about here..
1- first of all good choice of colors, you used the same colors of the psd. so its also a good choice of psd.
2- i dont like that both psds have the exact same style/ opacity (or w/e effect) coz it looks kinda odd.
3- for this design, i think you need to have it a bit bigger in size coz that design needs bigger scale (atleast around 450 width) imo.
4- you didnt blend this at all. Hence how the psds are popping out while the bkg looks so far away (ie, no relation).
5- i noticed that you usually make splatter brushes as your bkg. Try something else.

I was just trying the same effect as the other 2 mask's, seeing as how everything else is kinda mirrored.

Most all of my previous banners are anywhere from 425 to 450 in width, so I wanted to try something a bit smaller and different this time.

Yeah, that's what I need help on. I really don't know how you do that. You did a great job on the Orton banners I requested. Maybe help me out here?

I know, I know. I'm just too lazy at the moment to go looking for tuts on how to make better backgrounds. Believe me, I've tried on my own, and you don't wanna see the end result.

Thanks for the feedback.

That is eye catching and therefore it's good looking at first sight but there are some minor problems as well:

- The PSD's aren't blended at all, you need to work on blending brother.

(Why does everyone have problems with blending? Check out the blending thread in the help section or look up my little tutorial, hope it helps. If it doesn't feel free to PM me! )

- The color choice was good as they attract people on first sight but it's too bright, you could have made it a little more dark. And the background could have been faded into black or something to reduce the pressure on the eyes.

- The PSD in the middle should be the main focus of your signature, instead the whole signature is the focus! :shifty: As I said, the background could have been darker with a light flare on Lethal to make him the focus.

- The two bars (i.e. on the left and right) I don't know, they just don't seem right with two more Machismos! You should have made those PSD's black and white or desaturated or something like a color balance.

I think that's just about it, good work though peep; you did a nice job with most parts of the signature. Make the PSD stand out from the background next time and make your background darker than everything else on the signature.. 7.5/10.

Looks good. Different to most sigs on here. PSD is crisp, and apart from the use of the splatter which doesn't work as well, it's a very good sig. 8/10
