Quick Question regarding a storyline.

I dont know if anyone made a thread on this or not, and if there is, just a quick answer would be good... But for a while I have been in and out of wrestling. Still following but not really into it as before. ButIm watching again, but I noticed something... Remember when JBL told Vince that Hornswog wasnt his son? And that his family and Finlay lied to him? Well after that, all 3 are like, gone... Any word on how that was explained/ storyline wise?

Yeah. After the match at WM, Finlay and Horny went back to smackdown!, Vince wasn't seen on TV again, and JBL went into the WWE Title picture. I dont even think its ben mentioned again, pretty weird, but glad they didnt stick with this Father/son cotroversy crap

I think they were a team before, not for title, but they had a feud with DeuceNDominO (they still around?) and I hated it. Horny needs to get off WWE NOW. But I would like a Finlay title run (maybe US)

Sharkboy and Kronik do you actually watch the show? They realized that people were clearly growing tired of seeing Hornswoggle 16 times a show. So they wrote him off by having JBL say that Finlay is Hornwsoggle's real dad. They had a really good match at WM and JBL won. Everyone was tired of this story so they ended it with JBL beating Finlay. It wasn't a situation where they just randomly dropped the storyline. The whole thing had run it's course and it was time for it to end so they ended it.

I stopped for a few weeks before/after WM and missed the whole thing. BUt thanks for the explanation:clap_1:
I still dont think they closed it out very well, because
1-Whenever Vince/Finlay/'Swoggle return they now hjave to live with Finlay being Hornswoggles dad, and cantforget that.
and 2- It was a very abrupt ending and still didnt sort out any of the obvious stuff that would happen after someone finds out they were lied to...
IDK it just seemed like a very sort of, fake ending... Oh well, its out of the WWE which is good news, lol.

I just think it was a random and stupid ending.

This was suppose to be a 'main story' for RAW, and they end it like that. Didnt explain much, I mean Finlay was suppose to get his revenge for injuring Finlay's 'son' Horny. Prett weak ending. Shoulda had one more match at Backlash to end the fued. Not saying I liked the fued, but atleast send it off right, not jus some random ending to never be mentioned again

One thing that made no sense to me though is how Finlay was never held to task for putting his son at such risk just to wind Vince up....

Arguably Horny's hospitalisation was Finlays responsibility.

I think they ended the rivalry / storyline pretty shit

- After JBL announced it its Finlay / Hornswaggle = father and son
- JBL vs Finlay wrestlemania in a brawl
- JBL wins no word about this storyline any more.

Ya, Finlay knew, JBL explained that vinces' family and Finlay lied to him
and the others, who the hell knows...
