I think the last thing you said here is the most apt thing you said. That’s been my problem the whole time. From the moment it started it was always all or nothing on it being one person’s fault. It was a combination of many people’s faults, in my opinion.

Yep. Some of those people are gone, which is fine. Some aren't, which makes me wonder how long until something similar happens. It seemed like (as everything continued to happen) there was a "Team Juice" and a "Team Other Side." I'm over here, feeling like Switzerland, sitting in the middle and thinking that both sides acted like asses multiple times during the whole thing. Unfortunately, nobody (on either side) seems to want to acknowledge that they fucked up.

Unfortunately egos get in the way a lot of the time. I certainly I messed up. I let tensions overtake my reasoning at a few different points that day. I think people assume it’s a weakness to admit when they played a part in something going wrong or being wrong. It isn’t. It’s human. Like I already apologized to both Sister and CP for bringing up the past. My intitial intentions were to avoid exactly what happened. People assumed I was playing a game and I let that bother me into posting his comment. That in turn added fuel to the fire. Now mind you I don’t think I’m responsible for CP and Juice because I feel they were heading there with or without me, but there’s no shame in admitting I didn’t help matters.

I think the one thing I would bounce back to you is do you feel like Switzerland would pick the never playing with Juice option? That kinda feels like picking the anti-Juice side a little. There’s no shame in your choice and we want honest opinions here.

I’m only saying it’s not exactly a neutral position.

That's a fair point. And honestly, since I voted and have thought some about my vote, I've questioned myself. First, I'm hardly the most recognizable name in the mafia section. So far, I've been involved in 3 games. I fucked up and got killed early in one for posting a message to the scum chat, I repped in late, and then I bailed out early on this one. Perhaps I was too extreme in saying that I don't ever want to play with Juice again. I'm still thinking that through on my own end of things.

I don't think you made things blow up with CP and Juice. I think it was two adults who both acted in a way that messed up what should've been a really good game. I assume that you don't just sit and watch the site 24 hours a day, so the fact that things went on while you may have not even been around is nothing to blame you for.

The driving force in my vote (and where I'm still hung up with it) is that Juice appears (at least to me) to think she did nothing wrong. I've not seen her acknowledge one time that she should've just stayed out of the game after she was dead. She also implied that everyone who wanted her to shut the fuck up was racist, which is personally insulting. If she doesn't think she did anything wrong, what's to stop her from just doing whatever the hell she wants going forward? She claims that she responded to being attacked, yet she attacked my character and the character of others who just wanted to play the game.

I'm writing a lot here, and I'm sorry if it's excessive. I've just been thinking out my thoughts and my vote on this, as I actually find myself enjoying mafia far more than I thought I would.

Also, as a humorous side note, I figure I'm definitely getting offed in the next round of mafia. Since things seem to get personal pretty quickly in games here, I'm pretty sure that I've done enough to piss people off on both sides of the debate. I'm calling a Day 1 Tommy Train in my next game

People fight like cats and dogs in mafia, but are generally over it by the next game and even if they’re not that’s a poor way to play. Even people with grudges tend to want to win still lol

Plus, there’ll be enough people saying to knock it off.

Yea, I shifted my vote to "I'd rather not but she can play" as it seemed like the closest option to how I feel after reevaluating my own views. It's not exactly how I feel, but it feels close enough. I'd rather not play with anyone who caused the clusterfuck that the last game was, but I'm also not gonna boycott the section.

I think its no lie I am very reactionary person - rather than an instigator. Truth be told - I was super perplexed how many people just were happy to play with CP - even after his weird user title change after the fact. I am happy for people to condemn me and say I ruined their experience. But the blood that covered the game [I am the blood] fell from the body [the game is the body] because of a bullet being fired. Last game was a situation of cause and effect. Unfortunately, a lot of people want to hold the belief I was the cause. #

In terms of accountability. I've actively asked to be giving warnings or the next step in regards to ban when I've broken rules in various aspects on the board.

Also - I asked for the poll. Because RDK and Poyser suggested they had a whole group of people as part of an ultimatum.

See. This is where I feel the disconnect. You had a hand in ruining the game for multiple people, but you don’t seem to view that as a negative thing. I’ve never defended what CP said. I also had left the thread and didn’t see his updated title change until someone pointed it out to me. I don’t think you were just an innocent victim in the whole thing, but that seems to be the path that you want to take.

This is more a general observation but I don't care either way, but I don't think Mafia is good for Juice, not on a player skill level. I think she tends to take some things to heart too quickly or when things are not going her way, they are too quick to jump to conclusions at times instead of staying grounded and asking for clarification when unsure of something. That sort of thing can spiral and cause some conflict that could have been entirely unnecessary by stopping yourself and just asking the right questions because it comes down to a lack of communication or miscommunication.

I also think sometimes she tends to try and justify why she reads someone a certain way and doubles down on it when a simple explanation could also just be a gut read. I understand some people may not buy it, but especially on day 1, if you're getting a vibe from someone, it's better just to be open about getting a gut feeling; it allows you to have some suspicion about them and then you can go back and ISO their posts to see what exactly makes you not think they're town. I also think she tends to go into troll mode far too quickly. In the last few games, she's definitely done this wrt posting memes or whatever the fuck happened with Ekko and SA last game.

I'm not gonna stop Juice from playing, but I do genuinely think Mafia on the whole is not good for her mental state, much like how it can affect Fourth pretty badly as well.

They actually just wanted Juice banned outright. The ultimatum was they wanted their banned buddies back or they wouldn’t play with Jeff. Then they said they’d take their group elsewhere when they’d didn’t get it.

Which was honestly a wild jump from we won’t play mafia with Jeff witbout our banned buddies back to we won’t play mafia here at all without our banned buddies. It shows where their priorities always were.
