Backstory: WrestleMania 23 has just concluded, WWE has an interesting set of circumstances surrounding them, with all different ways to go, Mr McMahon will announce on WWE.com which way he will tke WWE in the near future!

Note: I do have another BTB but i'm putting that one on hold until i've got my creativity going with this one! I feel i can do more with this one lol

Statement from Mr McMahon

For the very first time since WrestleMania Mr McMahon (now bald) gave this statement regarding the future of WWE.

As you know last night WrestleMania 23 broke records and i'm sure in the future WWE will continue to break records. But we're going to do this without three brands... That's right as of right now i'm cancelling the brand split! Before i continue i would like to point out that the discontinuation of the brand split also makes the ECW title insignificant, Bobby Lashley, you no longer have a title! Lashley you embarassed me last night by shaving my hair and i'm gonna make you pay, you'll see how in a moment.

Futhermore WWE will not air on television until Backlash which will be in 3 weeks time on May 4th! I can only announce 3 matches at this time and they are as follows;

WWE Champion vs. World Champion- Loosing title retires
John Cena (wwe champ) vs. Undertaker (WHC)

Mr McMahon vs. Lashley

Umaga & Mr Kennedy* vs. Shawn Michaels & Batista

Other then these matches nothing more will be released.

We would like to thank Mr McMahon for the time he took out to tell us about these matches.

As WWE rolls into the Nationwide arena for Backlash in 3 weeks, time will only tell how the card will grow and obviously get bigger. Scores remain unsettled from WrestleMania. The WWE year is just getting hotter.

Backlash is upon us.
