Overall, the ppv was good, nothing great but nothing below avergae either so

Rosa can either defend it then or you set the interim champion in a match against Toni for the undisputed.

Women's match was good, but honestly Hayter should have lost and I say that as someone who isnt a big fan of Storm and is a somewhat of a fan of Hayter

Toni's reign hasn't been very memorable tbh

Thing is, after years of seeing Regal as a benevolent NXT GM that everyone loved, I had forgotten how good he is as a heel. With all the freedom that AEW allows, he should be very entertaining.

I agree honestly, but then again the women's title tends to never really have memorable runs to some degree.

The only reason ppl are annoyed with this is because theres no given timeline for the return. Punk was gone for a long time too but ppl didnt complain because we knew he was coming back. He came back for some promos but he still missed at least one full ppv cycle too. Some of this is trying to treat rosa the same n not appear to be bias + trying to maintain a good raport with rosa (whos also a homegroen talent even if ppl hate her now for weird reasons)

Fwiw not sayin i agree w it but some level of context matters . They kind of set the precedent w punk n changing course without smoothing things over with said talent is not the way to go imo. Dont really wanna push rosa to the competition either

And before ppl scoff at that, rosa was the hottest thing not even a year ago, shes very valuable regardless of this vendetta against her based off 0 actual facts

she's been out a while. no harm in giving Toni or Jamie the full title, and Rosa gets an automatic shot when she returns. The fact is once unified, Toni's title reign will not count. It's a weird issue.

Except aew never said it doesnt count. Thats fan projection. Punk was out at least 3 months iirc. This has been longer but as i said ad nauseum im just so sick of the whining about it. All it means is rosa never lost to toni. Thats it

Like theres no record books n only trolls would say toni was never champion. Everyone knows she was defacto champ regardless of a word in front. Its a silly tag but i just dont get being up in arms abput it every week. Not aimed at u btw just a general eye roll inducing thing for me at this point
