5 is a fucking blast when you have someone to play with. I’ve replayed it a few times when I’ve found new people willing to coop with me. And I love mercenaries on it.

It's the one thing why I never got it, even though it's on sale all the fucking time... Not the biggest fan of co-op games (or bad AI co-op games) and I don't have anyone to play with.

I probably wouldn’t play 5 without coop, but I still love it when I have someone to play with and I love the characters and story of 5. It’s pretty great.
