Eddie Kingston has recently completed a suspension from AEW.

Dave Meltzer reported that Kingston was suspended from AEW a few weeks ago after getting into a verbal dispute with Sammy Guevara. The suspension has now ended.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said Kingston told him sometimes he does things that he shouldn't, he was sorry and he owns up to whatever he did.

Kingston told PWInsider early Thursday morning that "You know the truth. I wouldn't lie. I was wrong for being unprofessional. That is the blind fact. He did what he did and the public can judge that but I know for a fact I was wrong."

Meltzer said he is unsure if the Kingston vs. Guevara match for All Out is still happening.

The two have been feuding since Guevara helped Chris Jericho defeat Kingston on the July 20th Rampage. On the August 3rd Dynamite, Kingston interrupted a Guevara/Tay Melo video package to say that he got a contract for a match at All Out between himself and Guevara and told him to sign the contract.

At the August 10th AEW Rampage tapings, Guevara accepted the challenge for All Out. Kingston appeared on the video screen and said he was going to do what Guevara and Melo did -- take a vacation.

Ruby Soho and Ortiz then appeared, saying they would get Guevara and Melo. However, Guevara’s acceptance of the match and Kingston’s promo never made television, and no reference to the match has been made since.

just to expand, Punk and Danielson have said much worse about Eddie. Now perhaps Eddie let his ego get in the way and felt Sammy wasn't in a position to do that to him, but Sammy is a heel saying generic heel things in this instance (imo , ofc).

What happened with Sammy Guevara and Eddie Kingston, Eddie comments

In an update, we've learned much more about the situation between Eddie Kingston and Sammy Guevara.

We're told that Eddie Kingston was mad because Sammy Guevara hadn't spoken with Eddie or cleared the content of a promo that ended up being edited off a show. The two had not conversed since the Blood and Guts show where Kingston threw Sammy Guevara off of the cage. We've heard that Kingston had asked to work with Sammy, who didn't have people exactly angling to work with him, after his feud with Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page.

Those that we spoke to said there were some pretty clear parameters set on Sammy Guevara feuds and promos to not mention his ex-fiancee, which we're told has never come up or been pitched anyway. The original plan was for Eddie Kingston to win the All Out match. In the edited out promo, Sammy Guevara referred to Kingston as a "fat piece of shit," which Kingston took exception to as he felt it buried the match if a "fat piece of shit" beat him. The crux of the frustration, however, was how Sammy Guevara followed up with this after being perceived as difficult working with Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page and Sonjay Dutt in the months prior.

After that, we're told that Kingston had yelled at Sammy Guevara, who smiled at him. Kingston responded by pie facing Guevara. Sammy ended up being incredibly unhappy with this and Kingston was suspended for two weeks.

We were able to reach out to Eddie Kingston, who wouldn't confirm the recounting of events, but said "I was wrong. That is all."
