Should marijuana be legalized?

Well if its legalized it will be easyer to get hold of whether theres and age limit or not, I'm under 18 and I can quite easily get alcohol so why would marijuana be any different?

also with the It's their choice rubbish, it just means we'll end up with more people like them, people who will probably won't get jobs, who will then claim benefits (which when your old enough) will be coming out of the money you've worked hard for.

Obviously they will have to deal with it. Enforce the rules.Alcohol is a lot more harmful so it's a lot safter to smoke marijuana than drink alcohol.Just take a look at the annual deaths.Also smoking marijuna has nothing to do with getting a job.It's not addicting and most people have limited supply.

Regular cigarettes are just as bad, if not worse, than marijuana. If cigarettes are legal, why not marijuana? (I don't smoke it by the way)

i dont smoke it but i know a shit load of people who do... i dont see why its not legal... it kills a lot less people then cigarettes or alcohol so why not just let people do it...?

I've had this discussion with a couple of people in real life before and iam all in favour for it to be LEGALIZED, so what a couple of Junkies die in the process, all the drug lords will be out of business because drugs ill be as cheap as piss, theft will be down you won't have as many people stealing to feed thier addiction, so i defiantly wouldn't mind it being legalized.

BK biceps... when i was 16-18,, I use to smoke a shit load of pot and drink a shit load of alcohol.. You can't die from the weed part...

But the alcohol part you can...

The Only ting that drinking alchol and then smoking weed... Will make you really wasted... 50% of the time you will be vomitting cause of beer before gear... best way is smoke 1st n then drink 2nd...

Plus i got no mates that ain't fucked cause of weed... I had one dealer is drug fucked but he takes dangerous amount of ice/speed/pills/Acid based XTC on a daily basis...

I use to smoke weed every day after i finished school.. Hell i did it through school and only failed one subject at the end compared to my mate where he did the same n only passed 1...But it wasnt the weed that did that he was just lazy about it and didnt give a fuck...

weed should be legal.. But i don't think heroin or crack or coke should be...

XTC or acid is another story I enjoy doing xtc whenever i get a chance, but i very limited my self to them...

But weed should be legal... you can't od on it, it's more safer than cigga's or alcohol....

the only thing weed would do if you smoke too much on a hot summer days.. it would just give you an giant headache..

All of which was done in a haze of pot smoke, and still is.

Carrying on from what Untouchable said, I dont understand how you people dont agree with what he said?

The money you will one day earn (if you ever leave your computer that is) will have a percentage of it going towards people who just sit at home smoking marjuana, drinking and generally being a drop out.

However that happens already, and it pisses me off.

If marjuana becomes legal, there will be more people doing it, and sooner or later taxes will rise. Legalising this drug dosnt just fuck up the person who uses it, it fucks up the economy aswell.

All drugs are shit, unless they are used methodicly.

People saying that Weed is no good for our society is completly differnt from ******s and their rights. (I called them that not because I'm racist, but because I find it funny that it's filtered )
But I just find that irrelevant, and not even the same type of problem.

They said that about black people generally because they were being prejudice and had facts wrong.

Whereas with marjuana, there is conclusive evidence that it is bad for the people using it and society.

And yes I am extremly closed minded. I'm not frightended of change though, I just dont think legalising marjuana is a step in the right direction.
