ROH files trademark for potential new logo

New trademarks have been filed for Ring of Honor.

ROH Acquisition Co. filed to trademark the term "Ring of Honor" and a potential new logo for the promotion on May 6. The image features the letters "ROH" inside a rectangular shape with points in the middle.

"Color is not claimed as a feature of the mark," the filing reads.

The image is shown below:

Tony Khan announced that he purchased Ring of Honor on March 2. The deal is said to have officially closed on May 4.

The listed purposes of the trademarks are as follows:

"Entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of television shows and multimedia entertainment content featuring wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing multimedia program featuring wrestling distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing series featuring wrestling provided through a global computer network; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling; Entertainment services, namely, providing ongoing webisodes featuring wrestling via a global computer network; Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network"

I did like the last/current ROH logo and it never got old to me. I get Tony possibly changing it (whether the new concept design is it or not). Whatever gets ROH a TV deal so that there is more room for wrestlers is fine by me.

yeah there's different color schemes of it and the OG one which FTR repped on their trunks

but yea, they chainlink/barbedwired O logo in the one thats iconic and ppl know. I will miss it

The current logo has had a few minor presentation changes from the faded look it first had, to the silver metallic look to the current white flat version, but give me any version of that logo with the cool bladed double O.

I pretty much loved all their logos, though. I actually think the very first one is kinda underrated and slightly better then what most would consider the golden era ROH logo.

as I posted below the OP, it likely wont even look anywhere close the patent anyways so it's best to just wait until we see the actual logo. none of their other patent logos looked at all like what they ended up being
