On Smackdown this week Booker T replaced Matt Striker as Smackdown's Colour Commentator.

Booker T has always been great at cutting promos and I expect some excellent work from him behind the announce desk.

I think that Striker has been a bit hard done by being replaced but he still has other roles to play in WWE and I assume he will fill in for Lawler on RAW when Lawler wrestles.

What do you think about Booker T as a colour commentator?

I love the idea of Booker being a colour commentator. They wouldn't bring back Booker as a Heel commentator due to the fact that cole in on the broadcast team.

I love Booker T on commentary, although it was a bit of a shaky start this Smackdown, I am fully confident he will start clicking with his colleagues. At first I thought he would've been stuck in character, which hurt his commentary before, but now that he isn't being a character. You can understand him and isn't bogged down by the rasp or ghetto babble that he's been doing his whole career.

I think Booker did a great job on Friday. I'm really wondering what happened with Striker. I thought he was great at the Royal Rumble.

Striker was HILARIOUS at the Rumble, when Booker T came out his reaction was priceless. If they seriously use Matthews over him, that is so lame. Cole should stay on Raw and let Striker stay on SD to let Matt be the true heel. I do like Booker as a commentator, I always liked him.

I figure Striker will be used for Raw when Lawler and Cole get their shit done at Mania.

It is a good move, I think once he settles in, he can really bring something different to the broadcast team.

As for Striker I was a fan of him at first, but then he just got lazy, and became inconsistant. Still there are people more expendable I agree.

I'm loving having Booker on Smackdown. It's great just hearing his voice on WWE TV again.

Let's hope he lasts longer than other colour commentators, lol.

I also hope that he lasts longer than most other colour commentators. It has been great listening to Booker again on commentary and I like his style of commentary. Hopefully this isn't another short term appointment and that he can last for some time.
