According to the real poll results on WWE.com, the Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit steel cage match that took place on June 11, 2001 was voted as the greatest match in Raw history with 32.33 percent of the vote. The Cena vs. HBK match didn't even finish in second place as that distinction goes to the "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. Kane WWE Title match that took place the night after King of the Ring '98, which took home 26.09 percent of the vote. Cena vs. HBK actually finished in third place with 11.34 percent of the vote. Additionally, the Jeff Hardy and Undertaker Ladder Match in the summer of 2002 only garnered 6.89 percent of the vote, not 17.61 percent, not to mention that it finished in fourth place, not in third place.

According to the real poll results on WWE.com, Lita was the legitimate winner of the poll, not Trish Stratus. Trish didn't even finish in second place in the poll as that distinction goes to Mickie James. According to the real poll results, Lita came in first place by a mile with 34.77 percent of the vote. Mickie James, who is not even mentioned in WWE's blurb, finished in second with 21.79 percent. Trish actually finished in third place with 12.18 percent of the vote, but was deemed the winner of the poll by the WWE overlords anyway. Candice Michelle actually had a low vote tally with a 4.26 percent vote total. Mickie James garnered over five times the amount of votes of Candice, but is not even mentioned in the blurb on WWE.com. Melina and Torrie Wilson also finished ahead of Candice.

I check both of them..

My vote would of been to angle/Benoit, 2nd would of been HHH/HBK with 3rd Hart/Bulldog. What they listed. HBK/Cena i would say was an 4.5 star match.. Austin/Kane was about 2-2.5 stars, Taker/Hardy was about 4 star...

the results

Ric Flair vs. Mr. Perfect, Loser Leaves WWE 569 1.12
2 1-2-3 Kid vs. Bret "Hit Man" Hart, WWE Championship 950 1.87
3 Owen Hart vs. British Bulldog, European Championship tournament final 1324 2.61
4 Triple H vs. Cactus Jack, Falls Count Anywhere 1219 2.4
5 Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena, WWE Championship 5591 11.02
6 Mick Foley vs. Terry Funk, Falls Count Anywhere 666 1.31
7 Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz vs. Chris Jericho & Christian vs. Jeff Hardy & RVD 2721 5.37
8 Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy, Ladder Match 3489 6.88
9 Stone Cold vs. Kane, WWE Championship 12621 24.89
10 Mick Foley vs. The Rock, WWE Championship 1418 2.8
11 Ric Flair vs. Triple H 1843 3.63
12 Shawn Michaels vs. Marty Jannetty, Intercontinental Championship 958 1.89
13 Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit, Steel Cage Match 17202 33.92

I'm surprised Angle/austin Raw 8/1/2001 match, rock/angle raw 12/3/2001, HHH Austin Vs Y2J Chris Benoit Raw 21/5/2001 , The Rock Vs Y2J Raw 5/11/2001, Y2J Vs Rock Vs kurt Angle Raw 24/12/2001 , 2 HHH vs angle matches in 2002, RVD Vs Eddie Guerrero Raw 27/5/2002 ladder Match, RVD Vs Christian Raw 29/9/2003 ladder Match, HHH Vs HBK Raw 29/12/2003 (sick match), Triple H Vs Edge Vs Chris Benoit Raw 29/11/2004 , Shawn Michaels Vs Shelton Benjamin Raw 2/5/2005 (freaking sick match), Matt Hardy Vs Edge Raw 29/8/2005 , HBK Vs Kurt Angle Raw 3/10/2005 30 min, HHH Vs Benoit 60 min, HBK Vs Rey Mysterio Raw: Tribute to E.G. 2005, HBK Vs Shelton Benjamin Raw 23/1/2006, Edge Vs Randy Orton Raw 2007 didn't get any mention.....

well i thought HHH Vs HBk n HBK vs Benjamin would of made it on the list for sure...

I voted trish on the diva bit, 2nd pick would of been mickie James

Who doesn't already know that WWE polls are fixed? I had this confirmed when everyone on the internet tried to vote Val Venis as the #1 contender for the title but he still didn't win the poll.

Its not that the polls are rigged, its that the WWE is ignoring the fans. How do these people know they are rigged anyway? Those links provided mysteriously dont work....what a coincidence.....

what i think is that its just rumours spreading just to knock WWE's position. What fake links are these anyway?

This is our fault... literally!

Remember our little ploy about voting for Val Venis to get a title shot at No Mercy? Remember how people also voted for Stevie Richards to be Vince's illegitimate son?

They know that people can band together and vote for what we want, and chances are that people were going to vote for Angle vs Benoit. For one, it was a great match, and two, it has Benoit and Angle which would put the WWE in a dilemma if they were to acknowledge it (One went nuts, and the other's Benoit >_>).

First of all even if you voted Val Venis to win that pole it was just an opinion poll correct? So even if he did when the vote it wasn't like that decided who go the title shot. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that is the way it works.

I'm also with Kaedon and Wreslting station these are just bull shit reports like they usually are. If I wanted to I could just go on to one of these web sites and say that Super Crazy vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan was the "real" winner of the poll and that the WWE was just hiding it. It's like right before a PPV when they say they have major spoilers and it says "look for John Cena to retain the belt". Well what the fuck? I could tell you that. These guys have no sources for their info 99 percent of the time. I take no stock into this, it may be tru, it may not be true either way this report means nothing to me.

Where did you get these screen shots at? Because I'm pretty sure if WWE rigged there polls they wouldn't be stupid enough to put out the "real" results out on the web. And yea I'm sure it would take a nuclear physisist to photoshohp pictures like that.

It's not even rigging, they are just ignoring it for whatever reason. I mean really, if Benoit didnt do what he did, theres a good chance it would have been on the show. From a PC standpoint, what they did is understandable. However, the Lita thing I just dont get.

What I don't get is why people assume that just because the polls that mean nothing on WWE.com is rigged why the Cyber Sunday stuff has to be as well? How do rigged opinion polls prove that PPV Match making is? It doesn't. Look, I'm sure its possible that the Cyber Sunday stuff is rigged, but seeing as there have been many wrestling personalities that have come out and talked about stuff like Matt Hardy winning the votes instead of JBL in the tag match the one year, is pretty solid proof that the voting for Cyber Sunday is real. But if its not does it really matter? No. Why? Because ultimately the show has to keep flowing. We all bitch when booking is stupid and doesn't make scense. Well voting for someone else to face Randy Orton for the Title besides Shawn Michaels after the big fued they've been having doesn't make scense. So why would they actually let the fans throw Jeff Hardy in there out of the blue? It wouldn't make scense and it would be one of the type of booking blunders everyone would bitch at if the WWE just booked it as the main event of the PPV themselves when the HBK vs. Orton fued was clearly not over.

Haha well that is very impressive then. I was obviously implying that you don't need to be a genius to work photoshop, I'm pretty sure any 10 year old kid could use it and doctor photos.
