Seth Rollins has had one of the worse kayfabe years ever. Went from being a babyface winning loads of matches and titles to turning heel and just losing match after match. So there is some interest in what he is going to do when he comes back. Seth sacrificed himself for the greater good at survivor series.What does this mean? After a big loss against Murphy he may feel like he needs to die and reborn like jesus christ. So we will see when he comes back sometime next year. But I dont think there is a story for him to return as a face and go straight to the world title scene. I just dont see that happening.
Daniel Bryan does feel like he is at this stage in his career where is there to help put people over. So you are probably right that he seems out of place in the main event of wrestlemania.
I dont think the feud of bryan vs Roman is lazy tho, it makes so much sense. Roman is the big bully at the top of the mountain making the whole of smackdown a toxic place as he rules with an iron fist. Bryan is the guy who wants smackdown to be the land of opportunity and champions put their titles on the line and do not cheat. Then add all the history the two guys have with each other to show the growth of the Reigns character.
Bryan vs Reogns at the royal rumble would be great but for wrestlemania it should be a younger talent rising up...big e maybe.
But yh if the rock is available. Definitely do rock vs roman
