Reason why Jericho wasn't returning at No Mercy + Orton

- The decision was made not to bring back Chris Jericho at No Mercy because the company felt it was too soon.

- Raw head writer Brian Gewirtz was in favor on Jericho appearing at No Mercy, but Vince McMahon was said to be totally against it.

- Apparently the plan was for Randy Orton to win the WWE title at No Mercy had he faced John Cena.

Sounds like a good call on Vince's part. Bringing in Jericho with no build-up besides a cryptic, 17 second long video would not be very helpful.

I can see Jericho returning at Cyber Sunday since the polls are rigged IMO. Have Orton face whoever the fans vote for ex. Triple H, Kennedy or Mystery Opponent. Have him return and beat Orton I suppose. Then Again like with Summer Slam they had Rey and Trips comeback so its not so far fetched to have Jericho come back at Survivor Series.

I for one would have loved to see Orton beat Cena's ass in that Last Man Standing match, but I am not arguing, No Mercy was hella good anyways. Y2J at the 3 hr raw or Cyber Sunday, that's how it will probably go down.
