wasnt he involved in some lawsuit recently over his entrence through the audience. maybe this was part of the agreement, or WWE's beating the lawsuit to the punch.

This really is turning out to be a sad year for wrestling....most of the really decent people they have left are getting suspended for being Blue when everyone knows how closely the WWE is being watched right now concerning the Wellness Policy, and they are releasing people left and right. it seems they should be sure they have someone decent to replace people with when they let someone go. I liked Sandman as an ECW original and he got some pops for Raw for a while, but he wasnt really going anywhere so it is not like a total loss but still WWE superstars are dropping left and right.

His entire stint in WWE has been poor. On ECW, he was nothing. His stature actually improved on Raw, which surprised me. He had a nice mini-feud with Carlito and got some great pops during his entrance. But as a wrestler, he was very poor and his suicide dive on Raw highlighted as much. He won't be missed. He was just a nostalgia act.

Its just funny how there were rumors that Vince was thinking about giving Sandman a push.

Vince must have never seen him wrestle until he got traded to Raw.

Like Bdogg said earlier, I wonder if this has anything to do with that lawsuit against Sandman? Maybe the WWE is trying to distance themselves?

Too Sad

All I can say is that The Sandman will be greatly missed from the WWE. He is an amazing competitor.

I wish him good luck in the future
