I think he should be the one that takes it from Morishima. I dont like Takeshi Morishima that much and I think he doesnt deserve the title IMO. Mcguiness would be a good champion and I think the fans would mark out like crazy in the arena once Nigel wins the belt...

Do you guys feel the same way?

^ I find him really slow in the ring and kind of a Samoa Joe rip off except alot less agile. He still can put on some great matches but I just feel that he should drop the title soon. The good part about this is once he finally looses the belt its gonna be something special

^^^

yeah i agree with the poor mans joe thing but hell how many times do we have a Japanese champ?

also about the joe thing, i want austin to beat morishma just like he beat joe, he would be a two time champ and even more of an icon than he already is..

I do think Nigel should win the belt from Morishima, just not right now. At least wait until the very end of the year, preferably into next. That way, you have a very long reign for a Japanese champion. It just looks good on ROH's resime. It shows that international stars can succeed in ROH to (not that they havn't). And that, can only strenghten ROH's relations with foreign companies, which could be key if they get a TV deal. They could show Americans who havn't seen all the great Puro stars, and put on some great matches, even on cable television.

But yes, Nigel should win it. He's proven so much over the last couple years, and I think its time for him to be in the spotlight.

I don't watch RoH, but I keep up with it on IWF and other sites. I was thinking McGuiness was title worthy, but there's a few other under-rated RoH guys it sounds like IMO.
