Christian Cage dissapointment

I know I might get heat for this but its just my opinion...

I havn't been impressed with Christian Cage's work lately, the last two PPV matches that he had were not that good (Harris vs Cage was OK at best) and the Doomsday Chamber of blood was just terrible. I just fucking hate chicken shit heels because they always ruin the match by "running away" and it pisses me off...

anyway, do you think Christian has gotten worse lately or is it just me?

Christian hasnt gotten worse latley, its mangagements decsion, lol. Youre sounding like its his fault that its actually real and hes being a chicken shit....lol. While I agree with you that I didnt like it, it sets up for some very interesting topics. Whats gunna happen next? We dont really know. Who will he fued with and why? We dont know that either. It should be a few next interesting weeks following what happens with Cage

i think he has just had some bad luck with the matches hes been in, that and he is nothing more than a upper mid card wrestler at best...

I have said it time and time again, Christian is only as good as his opponent (Yes PeepShow, I said it again ) He's gold on the mic, and average in the ring. If Christian had the mic skills of...lets say AJ Styles, do you think he would have made it this far in TNA? Christian is a Main Eventer because of his ability to generate heat, based on wrestling alone, he's nothing special imo.

I agree with Tnaiswrestling, I've been thinking Christian's been sort of jet legging it, I mean the Last Alright match he's had was in that King of the Mountain match. He seems to be more interested in his low Budget Films carrer.

Now that I think about it, that's quite true. How long have it been since he carried an average wrestler to a great match? I can't even remember. He's an above average in-ring worker at best, but he's one of the greatest on the mic.

Yea Cage has been slipping alot lately. A guy like him needs to be in the title hunt at all times to keep him fresh, like how Triple H was a couple years back. A guy like him mid carding and BS'n his way through his career won't really get him anywhere, if he wants to be like he was in 2005-06, then he has to get off his ass, stop playing with Monster Abyss and go after Angle and Joe, a rivalry with either of them would bring him back up there for the most part. I am dying to see Cage TNA World Champion, not NWA World Champion. Cage as TNA world champion is going to be something to see.

Alright, I decided to take a look at this topic. You say Christian's bad because two reasons.

Chris Harris match.

He ran away in the DCOB match.

It's not Christian's fault that he's booked in a match with an undercard singles competitor who USED to be something in the tag team division. The whole reason for that match was for Cage to make Harris look like he was something.

Then the DCOB match.. I'm sure it was scripted for him to run off, maybe causing Tomko to break from the Coalition because he's finally fed up?

Christian has been pretty much dominating before the return of Test.. All I can say is hopefully the Coalition will get back on it's feet after A-Train comes soon. But yeah. Christian Cage IS TNA.

But you guys'll see once Cage finally gets back in the damn title run.

Christan is a bit like HHH was a few years ago. He needs to stay in the title hunt. Or at least be in a upper card feud with someone like Joe or Sting. But IMO his match with Harris was really an average TNA match. Cage is absolute GOLD on the mic but more of a crappy silver-ish color in the ring. His matches with Angle or Jarrett are great, but matches with someone like Harris are just average.

Umm isn't that there job to generate heat to annoy you.

I've never seen Cage as a true main eventer to be completly honest, none the less he is still great especially on the stick, although he has kinda slowed down since losing the belt but this is pretty normal.

yea Christian is awsome as a heel but running away during a match ruins it imo. Plus I think he needs to step it up in the ring a little more...

well, I guess we'll see what happens in the next few weeks, maybe he'll get better
