I was wondering if any of you guys know of any jobs that a 15 year old can do in the UK?
I've tried a paper round but it was slave labour! 3 days work for £6

I'm not from the UK, but fast food restaurants are a good bet.

Aside from that the only thing I can suggest is prostitution.

whatever you do mate don't ever look for work at a mcdonald's.This is a freind's advice i'm giving you right here and you'll thank me for that.I used to work at a mcdonald's found at regent street in the west end,it's near the HMV at piccadilly circus.I've got only one thing to say it's a shit job.I've worked there for one year between 2002-2003 and got paid 4.15 pounds an hour with an eventual payrise that got me up to 4.40 pounds an hour.Yeah you've got that right a 25 pence pay rise. There is no job description. They expect you to do anything :SniperHeadShot2: from cleaning the floor every 10 mins in an 8hr shift to cleaning the toilets to cleaning the walls to taking out the garbage.I was working in the kitchen on the grills and they expect you to make 10-12 big macs in two minutes[it's nota joke it's real].The managers, they talk to you in a way as to take away any dignity you have left, some clients will behave as if they are superior to you.The complaints procedure of mcdonald's is so complicated that you fucking give up.And if you talk about creating a union, they just accuse you of gross misconduct and they sack you without notice.believe me it's guantanamo there mate, very hostile territory.STAY AWAY from mc shit. You can buy their food [i had a crush on mcflurry and strwberry/chocolate milkshake] but don't work there.

If you don't believe me just type working at mcdonald's on google's search engine and you'll see:SniperHeadShot2:

to make things worse for me back in the day liverpool were having a shitty 2002-2003 season:wounded1: :wounded1: :wounded1:

Umm that's what you get when you work at a fast food restaurant. Its hard work yeah, and you get paid shit, but you put in 6 months there get some experience and when you hit 16 you can go and get a job at a real store.

If you are so good in computers, you can work as a partial programer, not really a real programer, just formating and backups, and installing softwares and games for customers.

So basically you work as an assistant for a computer engineer.

Clean place and a professional atmosphere as well as achieving an experience license to help you get a better job later.

that's a good idea WS.marvel26 you're from the uk like me,just forget about the fast food restaurant thing and look for work at tesco[they allow you to be part of a union]or sainsbury's,on sunday i think sainsbury's pays you 10 pounds [20 us dollars]an hour, that's good money. And on public holidays they pay you 1.5 times your normal hourly pay.By the way monkeystyle you're talking about putting up 6 months at a fastfood restaurant, but when it comes to shitty jobs like that 1 day seems like an eternity nevermind 6 months!!!!!

I did it. I worked at KFC for a year as a cook, and if my lazy unmotivated ass can do it anybody else can.

i respect you for that monkeystyle. But why should marvel26 put up with the fast food joints when he can make better pay and get better work conditions at UK hypermarkets like ASDA,Tesco, sainsbury's or walmart.Stay away from the slave labour of fast food restaurants marvel26 and spend 6 months or 1 year putting articles on the shelves of one of the abovementioned hypermarkets. You'll get work reference and experience and you'll get paid around 6 pounds an hour[approximately 12 dollars an hour].

I think grocery stores is a good choice. Pretty fun easy job. They give you breaks unlike restuarants, and if it has a union, you get regular raises. I did that in HS, and in a couple years you can make pretty good money.

The benefit of working at a fast food place is the discounts on food, which at least here you don't get at grocery stores.

Alternatively if you have any interest in books, you should czech out book stores.

Yep stay away from cooking fast food. It's not worth the money, trust me.
