Great american bash spoilers

Two main events have been scheduled for this month’s Great American Bash pay-per-view. As of right now WWE Champion John Cena will face Bobby Lashley and WWE World Champion Edge will take on Rey Mysterio. This will of course be Rey Mysterio’s Return match.

Rey is also said to be backstage at tapings tonight.

I cant believe I am saying this but I hope Lashley takes the title off of Cena, anyones better than Cena at this point.

Why can't WWE stop considering Rey as a main eventer. He still has a (kayfabe) grudge with Chavo and it would be perfect now that he is the CW champ and then it gets even worse. Firstly, none of us want to see Cena/Lashley and WWE will never no what one will have to lose. I bet it will end in a double countout. Terrible booking, again.

Even if it sucked, I would want to see at one point Batista vs Cena, it would be like the Stone Cold vs The Rock of our times(lol). Mysterio should end his feud with Chavo in a steel cage for the CW title, giving some respect for the title

CWs in a steel cage would mean, stealing the spotlight from the maineventers Vince is totally against that, so I doubt that would happen. Mysterio and Edge should at least have some decent matches, but I too am tired of Rey maineventing. As far as Lashley and Cena we can only hope this wil mean one of them will turn heel. At this point I dont really care who just so long as one of them does.

I say edge beats mysterio and he drops back down to midcard. And lashley turns heel on cena which wont work but then cena turns heel.

I hope Cena turns heel at GAB and brutalizes Lashley with a Steel Chair or something else. As for Edge v. Mysterio, it should be a good match but I guessing it'll be a One Night thing...

Well, it has been confirmed, we will have Batista vs Khali and Mysterio vs Edge(haven't see yet who is Edge's guest in the Cutting Edge). Also Lesnar is backstage and may appear on Raw

Rey challenging for the title is perfect. He is over with the fans, and he'll be the best person for Edge to gain title credibilty without looking like a jobber. Just as long as he never wins the title

I think Cena should turn heel like when he first started his "Vanilla Ice-esque" gimmick he was way better then look at his match with Lesner at Backlash 04 I think i wanted to see a Orton/Cena Match-up though I thought the Orton/Hardy Match on raw was pretty darn good, also they need to throw Kennedy into the main even ALA MITB!
