Does anyone else think that Robert Roode is so much better than what TNA are showing him to be!

I don't think so, TNA are more focused on giving the older guys belts. As much as I would want to see Roode winning the TNA belt, it won't happen for a while.

Roode is a great wrestler but TNA are just building him up properly. If they threw him straight into the main event scene he wouldn't be as good as if he had experiance in the mid card and in doing so he got some experiance against veterans like Jeff Jarrett and Rhyno once or twice and with what TNa's doing it's gonna make him a better performer. The guy can pull off an amazing promo and is above average in the ring and still needs to improve a bit before establishing himself as a main eventer. TNA got too many up and coming stars at the moment to put them all in the main event scene.

The little place in the back of your mind that you
I think this might just be a little bit better than being in a 6 man Team Canada where you aren't the star...just a little bit better.

TNA is focused on giving the belt to somebody who has already established them self as a star in the wrestling world and guys who have become a household name, any other guy being champ is just a transition champ for the time being (Abyss). I am imagining that TNA is trying to put the belts on vets who don't mess up in the big time situations.

Roode is only 30 years old, he still has quite a bit of time left in his career before he has to hang up the boots. Let's look at Chris Harris, he just got his big main event break at Slammiversary and he is 34 years old, that is 4 more years of experience in the ring and on the mic refining your skills.

The Roode/Young feud is just there to build up both Roode and Young for a bigger feud and a little bit more up the totem pole for the TNA Heavyweight Championship for both of them. It also works on building heat for Roode and building some pop in for Young and get Young experience to play to the crowd.

If you've looked at Roode's career this is about the only singles feud that he has had and its a shame Jarret's wife passed away or the Jarret Roode fude would still be going on. And that is what Roode needs a fued with a main eventer to establish himself. Right now he is a mid carder feuding with Eric Young another midcarder.
