ATL: Woman Falls From Window of W Hotel & Dies

For all you Wrestlemania 23 sucks people.

I wanted to just put this out there. All throughout the WWE section there is threads that refrence Wrestlemania is some forum or another. Almost all of them are talking about how the majority of you feel that Mania is going to suck because of Battle of the Billionaires and Batista vs. Undertaker...some even include Cena & HBK as stinking up the joint.

I have maintained that the Cena vs. HBK match is actually going to be great the build up on Raw has been awesome. Taker vs. Batista though not the best in ring match is still going to get a huge pop due to again the build up. And same goes with Battle of the Billionaires as I agree that Umaga vs. Lashley won't be the best match on the card, but Umaga is better then most give credit for as is Lashley and the build up on TV has been great and the truth is we all want to see Vince McMahon get his head shaved and thats what its all about. Yet some of you tell me that these matches are still going to stink up the joint. I still disagree because the quality will be okay and you will look past it because the build up has been amazing and will draw you in.

Still people seem to disagree, yet for so many people that claim not to be looking forward to these matches at Mania, then can anyone please explain this?

Thats right, the three main events for Mania that most of you are crapping on are the 3 most popular betting events with the most bets and a record 46 bets placed for Batista vs. Undertaker with new bets placed almost daily.

Bottom line is I think more of you are looking forward to this then you let on.

I only agree with the Batista Taker match, the whole story is not really a story at all, Taker just wants his streak and Batista wont say anything to offend him because he respects Taker, Batista has no charisma and Taker's character doesnt talk, it's a good looking match on paper, but in reality it totally sucks penis

I agree to a point, but i dont think poeple mind the title matches. I think the 2 main events are great. My problem is what is before the main events

I know the wwe could have done a lot better with this undercard. Its about a week away and theres no tag titles match or Cruiserweight championship match. The Orton / Edge fued should recieve top booking, but yet we see all wwe programing has turned into the Bobby Lashley Show. The Womens title is being promoted more than half the male wrestlers on the roster. With talent like Edge, Orton, Beniot, Carlito, Nitro, RVD, Punk, Lashley, Kennedy and others, i think the wwe could have done better. Although the card isnt finalized yet.

Yea the Mania matches blow this yr, wheres the instant classic match? Khali and Kane is not a match no matter how much you try to convince me. I am pretty impressed with how they recovered the womens division since they lost their main eventers. MITB is pretty decent, too many guys to keep track of, plus theres some real losers in there, Finlay? Booker? ECW match is pretty solid considering that Monty Brown is at Mania. MVP and Benoit im kind of 50 50 on, nott too bad but could be a better match. Lashley and Umaga is publicity city, plus how come Umagas first Mania is so big for him? and Lashley is still getting pushed why?

The WWE is spending way too much time promoting the BOTB. Its definitely taking away from the build of the the undercard. After MITB there are really no undercard matches with any buildup.

Hopefully it doesnt sell well, because I could see Vince thinking that him and Lashley are draws. Then that means Vince will be on TV more and Lashley's push will continue.

The thing is, for the last couple of years the cards for the most part have looked unspectacular, but there was a few matches on the shows that just made it worth while.

Everybody's going to have their bumping boots on that night, and are going to be trying harder than they usually do.

Basically for $50 bucks it'll be well worth it considering that your typical shitty PPV is still 40.

I don't care to be honest...I bet on the Batista/Taker and HBK/Cena match, but that's only because there's no real money involved. To be honest, I have no intention of watchng WM. Even the title matches look like Summerslam or Survivor Series ME, they just don't look like WM matches to me.

Kane vs Khali, Ashley vs Melina, behind all of Vince's promotion the fact is that its still Lashley (one of the greenest guys in the ring) and Umaga, who's only good matches have been against Cena. The MITB will steal the show, but a lot of these guys could be in single matches and could have helped in building a better undercard. The ECW Originals vs The New Breed, we know the New Breed is going to win, because its a known fact that Vince just doesn't like ANYTHING that has to do with the old ECW.

Benoit vs MVP is the only other match on the card (as of now) but even though I love Benoit, he's still going up against MVP, and to be honest this looks like a SD main event. When it comes down to it, people will ask themselves... Is this really worth 50 bucks? And the answer is a resounding no.

Just because we're betting on the matches doesn't mean that we're going to buy it.

This year's WM will be a lame one, no doubt about that. From the recent WMs, i think the best was WM21, for its strong build up of matches especially the Batista vs HHH was perfectly booked and hyped.

I dunno why after the attitude era, WMs most of the time fail to reach the standards it had during the 90's?

What the fuck are you talking about. Kiss your ass? You don't have anything to do with wm, let alone give a logical opinion on the subject. Rating the WM's? First of all, you missed 22, Second how can't the old WM be judged? In anything WM 20 and up can't be judged, by the simple fact, that over time opinions change. Someone like Batista, may just disappear off the like face of the earth, like Brock Lesnar. So matchups, don't have the same impact down the road. I like to see if Wrestlemania's stand the test of time.

One dead as women fall from W Hotel window

One woman is dead and another is being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital after falling through a 10th story window at the W Hotel in Midtown Atlanta early Saturday.

Police say the two women were attending a "white party" and were horsing around when they crashed through the window.

Both women fell from the 10th floor window and struck an exterior ledge at about the fifth floor. One of the women died there.

The other woman rolled off the ledge and fell the remaining five floors to the ground. She is at Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

No identities have been released.

Police are investigating the fall as an accident.
