IGN compiles list of top 25 games of all time.

Yeah I'm not going to copy out the entire list so here's the link http://games.ign.com/articles/772/772568p1.html

The only thing I'll say is that mostly they are really solid lists. Its obviously impossible to please everyone, and some people will say that some games deserve to be higher than others, but that's the way it goes.

God of War was first for the PS2? Now don't get me wrong, I love that game but it wasn't released tha long ago, and I feel it shouldn't have been ranked number one over either GTA III or San Andreas.

The Xbox picks didn't surprise me at all, I expected either Halo or Halo II to be on top and sure enough they nabbed the first and second spots in the list. For a while Halo was the only reason to get an XBox.

For the Gameboy Advance, Warioware Twisted got the top spot, and I can't argue with that pick. All the mini-games are simple but they're incredibly addicting, Castlevania-Aria of Sorrow got second place and it was probably the only game that could have challenged Wario Ware for the top spot. Although perosnally I though that Circle of The Moon was better than Aria Of Sorrow.

Metroid Prime was number one for the Gamecube with Resident Evil 4 getting the top spot.... This one annoys me because I'm simply not a fan of Metroid as a first-person shooter, and I thought the game was a bit overrated.

As for the PC games, I'm a bit puzzled becasue Half-Life was ranked number 9, System SHock 2 didn't make the top 10 and The Sims is ranked 22... Why are THe Sims 22 when this has been the best PC series of the past 7 years?

All in all it was a pretty good list, lists actually. But like MS said, more than likely everyone will find some faul or another as is often the case with these lists.

The thing that pleased me most was Civ 4 in 2nd place for PC. I fucking adore that game.

The on ething that bothered me was the X-Box list. Seriously, people need to get off Halo's dick. Objectively it was a decent fps. Personally, I hated the goddamned games. And I like fps'.

A 23-year-old man was shot to death early Tuesday in the Logan Square neighborhood shortly after attending the wake of a gang member, according to police.

The victim and another man had left the wake when someone opened fire, striking the victim twice, police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said.

Police were notified at 4:17 a.m. and the body was found in an alley on the 2700 block of North Albany Avenue, according to Sullivan.

The shooting is believed to be gang-related, Sullivan said. The victim was not believed to be in a gang but the man he was with is in a gang, Sullivan said.

The shooter was described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9, and 150-160 pounds.

No one was in custody as of Tuesday afternoon.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed the death, but a spokesman said the man’s identity could not be released pending notification of family.

Grand Central detectives are investigating.
