Sorry guys would have replied sooner but I was nodding off from your lame attempts at comedy....

Dale mate I never denied that we are in a relegation battle, as of now we are, I said that come the end of the season we would be safe in mid-table and last time I checked the season was only half way. You guys are as bad as the media two bad results and sudderly we are in a crisis, never mind that we went six unbeaten before that and had been playing much better as a team.

Cork nice to see your still not bitter over us making the Cup semi-final and not your lot. lol.

As bad as the media because of two bad games? Erm no, I said it in August that you'd be relegation fodder. Don't try and kid yourself that people are making these assumptions off of 2 absolute hammerings, we're HALF WAY through the season. You've scored the least goals in the league and have the worst goal difference in the league.

Was good reading Harry Redknapp come out and take aim at some of the QPR players. It is so true what he said, they are being paid too much and just aren't delivering. Really hoping that he can turn it around but it may be too late. If QPR are relegated do people think that he will stay or will he just ship because he wouldn't want to manage a team in the Championship?

If he has any sense he'd leave if they got relegated, he's far too good a manager to be in the Championship and even managing QPR in the first place tbh.

The Arsenal game was just something else, absolute goal fest. All 3 goals they let in though were extremely poor and easily preventable. Say what you want about Walcott, but he's most certainly taken his chance since asking to go upfront, was awesome today. Think they need to do whatever it takes to keep him now, would be another huge blow if he was to leave at the end of the season.

Villa continuing to Villa, i'll leave it at that for today.

Missed the last 3 goals live b/c had to leave early to catch the tube before the fuckery started, but Walcott's hattrick goal was ridic.

Finished just like Henry used to today.

His first goal was so Henry-esque

I am thinking the same, can't see him bothering with QPR if they get relegated. Hopefully it won't come to that but it is going to need a miracle to get out of the relegation zone.

Walcott looked great last night and his last goal was a stunner. To get through four defenders in close proximity with so much control and then be able to finish was amazing to watch.

That was a crazy game of football. Walcott was immense up front, Podolski put in a good shift on the left and Giroud played very well when he came on as well. I really hope Walcott ends up staying at Arsenal. I've been one of his biggest critics over the years, but this season he's shown how good he can really be.

I was going to talk about Arsenal defence, and how easily the goals were conceded but screw it, everyone is defending bad this season. Stoke have been the only team that have been solid at the back so far but even they conceded 3 goals yesterday. Defending has just been non existent in the Premier League this season.

Even if we signed Zaha, Wenger would be overly cautious and keep him on the bench for a few years, so not too jazzed about that one.

Debuchy is a snip for £5m.

Depends if Palace get promoted or not as i'm sure they would love to take him back for a year long loan in the Premier League.

Dismal game.

Podolski and Cazorla going off for Gervinho and Ramsey screamed of a team that lacks depth in quality. Wenger really needs to add a few more players to his squad in the transfer window.

Gotta agree about the lack of quality on the bench though. I actually like Giroud and even though 9 times out of 10 Gervinho is awful, I see something in him but those two guys, nor anyone on the bench itself really are game changers. Not sure how true the rumours are, but I heard Nani was being linked with Arsenal and I think that would be a top signing for Arsenal as he has that bit of special about him to win a game.

Credit to Southampton though, they deserved at least a point though and did a top job of pressing Arsenal quickly who looked massively out of sorts today. No rhythm, no penetration, no spark, no nothing.

I'll be glad when the football gets back to it's regular schedule though, it's messing with my head being on nearly every other day.
