Checked out this show the other night seems like it'll be really good. Jeff Daniels Sam Waterson (old lawyer from law and order) and a bunch of people that I've never heard of It's been created by the same guy that did the West Wing. Anyone else check this show out yet? Thoughts?

Looks really good in the trailers but we don't get it here for another month.

Finished up the first episode it was pretty good I'm starting to hope for some West Wing tie ins already but doubt that it'll happen.

It starts in the UK on July 10th so not long to wait.

Am really excited Jeff Daniels is one of my favourite actors and this seems the perfect show to showcase his talents, also Sirkoin is very much in his element here. Should be a great watch.

The pliot was a let down overall. It was a bit of a mess with too much shouting just for the sake of it and forced humour. Also the supporting characters were a bit dull.

The leads are good however I can see their despute being interesting if given a chance. Theres a good show in there some where lol.

saw the first 2 episodes.episode 1 was great.2 was an utter mess.theres 1 actress.the younger blonde who overacts in nearly every scene ruining the show.

^ Intersting you say that about her because I can tell that she is a good actress just that maybe it is a rotten part.

Another thing I have heard is that later some characters from the West Wing do appear and I am against this. The West Wing had something like a seven season run and it wasn't that long ago it ended so it seems a bit soon to revisit those characters epsically in a whole new show. Its time to move on is what I think.

None of them have popped in yet but the show itself lends them to appear (political news show) I don't think it'd be to often or anything. I wouldn't mind it while they had a 7 year run it's been 6 years since the shows been on.

One thing they must guard against is making it too much like the West Wing. This show has to stand up on its own merits.

I dunno I already see it being structured Identical to west wing. Though I would refrain making it more and more similar. Though honestly if he were to just bring west wing back i'd be pretty happy.

they need to recast that actress i mentioned.shes awful.

^ No its the part IMO. You could argue that outside of the main parts that the cast are nothing special certainly not up there with the West Wing.

Watched a bit of last weeks have to say two episodes in and it is struggling to hold my attention, will stick with it through.
