Okay, I've never watched Chikara before, but I found this iPPV from Saturday on YouTube in its entirety. After spending the last 2 hours and 45 minutes in watching it, I've got to say that is one of the better wrestling shows I've watched this whole year. Each match kept me interested and had some great action, and hilarious crowd chants. Even though I may not have been familiar with the characters or the storyline accompanying it, they did a great job filling anyone not familiar with Chikara on the storylines before each match. Here's the video, I encourage you all to watch this if you're a wrestling fan with 3 hours to spare.

Chikara is a great promotion to watch. I haven't seen the iPPV and probably won't until I get to the point where i'm ready to buy the DVD from smartmarkvideo, but I read the results. And it looked like a great show and the reviews i've read have also stated it. I hope they find some way to bring Archie back into Chikara as i'm a big fan of his. And The Young Bucks winning the Campeonatos de Parejas was a surprise, as F.I.S.T. had the titles for a while. But I guess we're going to be seeing them defending the belts possibly in ROH and continue the ROH-Chikara relationship.

Yeah, Archie got a huge pop when he returned towards the end of the match as Archibald Peck, after starting as Mixed Martial Archie and being hurt. They need to do something with him, he was over as hell during the match.

I watched it and honestly, I'm glad I didn't buy the PPV... Which is a shame because I really like Chikara but honestly...

The best match on the card was a let down, 9 minutes of Mayhem is cool but it lacked any real substance and was kinda anti-climatic... I saw there was something like an hour left after first bell and I was really psyched for an epic encounter but it was so anti-climatic... It lost it's touch.

Will watch the rest of the show later.. However, credit to Chikara, it sounds like it was as good as High Noon, so who knows?

Indy's doing IPPVs... I personally think Evolve, Chikara, CZW, DGUSA & RoH should form some sort of JCP group and start really getting themselves out there. But once I get a job, I'm certainly gonna start buying as many iPPVs as I can.

Oh, yeah! Halfway through, but a fun PPV. It's not the cleanest, smoothest on transitions, but like you said, it kept me interested. I'm a Peck Mark and loved that match...best of the night so far. The Del Rey/Satyrn match was good. It's all a little campy, but if I'm going to watch an independent, I want drama and splash!

NOTE: DAMN! They pulled the stream and I wasn't finished!! lol!! If you find another, let me know. Meanwhile, me and the Batari are having an interesting discussion about religion and politics! lol!

Quick review on each match:

Ophidian vs UMB: Great opener, the perfect way to start this PPV. ***1/2

Throwbacks vs Cabana/Archie: Real good match, told a great story, Archie got a huge pop, ending almost made me cry :( ***

Akuma vs Icarus: Awesome match, shorter than I thought and not the amazing spots we've come to expect from a ladder match, but the announcers did a great job selling the severity without the wrestlers having to almost kill themselves. ****

Del Rey & Saturyne vs Batiri was pretty good, Del Rey is just plain awesome. Saturyne had a botch or two, but it didn't taker away from the match. **/3/4

Kingston, Jigsaw, Quackenbush, Green & Soldier Ant vs 17, AssailANT, CombatANT, DeviANT, & The Shard: Crazy match, only gripe is that it was chaotic for too long, never a real match happened, all the guys were usually just fighting guys all around the ring, but it did make sense considering the feud, so nothing wrong with it. Ending was a bit anti-climatic though: ***3/4

Young Bucks vs FIST: Great match, I love how the crowd was cheering for the Bucks first, then got split between the two teams, but after that it was all FIST, pretty crazy stuff. ****1/4
