I will say GTA V Online is the only game I still play regularly to this day. 7 years after release and I still play it once a week minimum.

I imagine Red Dead 2's online is just as good, but I've not played it.

I think I would like RDR2 better but I haven't played it so it's an instant vote for GTA5 which I have played and beat.

They're almost hard to compare to me even though they're so similar. Like Red Dead took a lot of things from GTA and made it better, but they also had the benefit of being in the fucking 1890s so they could flesh out the few activities people did at that time where GTA had a lot more shit bc it was in modern times But the little shit being so much fun like hunting, fishing, etc. in Red Dead is why it gets my vote, I got absorbed in the world.

I would say I like RDR1 better than any of the GTA's so I think I'd prefer RDR2 but I've also heard a lot of people that liked 1 hated the 2nd for some reason so idk.

I didn't play the first one near as much but I don't see how you could like one and not the other myself, both were fucking great to me. I think they were both on my list of 20 for this.
