Gonna just add on to this thread since it got lost in the shuffle last week lol bc here's more news. According to Papa Dave, Omega will be returning this Tuesday which isn't too surprising but will also "Headline, at least some, PPV for Impact"

I also wonder how many people are going to expect Kenny to be at Final Resolution now and then if he doesn't show up (which I don't imagine he will) they'll end up hating the card regardless of how good or bad (not looking great tho let's be honest) it actually is

I mean I've said from the get go this is a slow burn and Omega and Callis want it go that way. Swann seems like the first guy that might wrestle Omega and you can easily do that in a Backstage Segment at Final Resolution that leads to a fight between the two guys. Very simple and boom you have Swann come out the following Impact because he's defending the honor of Impact Wrestling and it leads to Swann vs Omega for both titles at Hard to Kill in January.

I mean might have to defer to the HoHo opinion police here since I'm most definitely not going back to reread a live thread I do know him and EC were pretty much the only ones saying Omega would most likely wrestle at an Impact PPV guess if he didn't use the exact phrasing slow burn then that's not gonna be enough for you though

Slow burn wording nope, but Omega involvement up to this point I felt it would go this way and I thought this way since Omega beating Moxley that Wednesday night. I thought he shouldn't wrestle at FR, but getting involved would be a smarter choice to me for Saturday. I have no doubt Hard to Kill he's going to wrestle, and anything after that is golden I feel.

It also didn't help that Dynamite didn't further this story either and Omega supposedly just recut his Impact promo?

Impact desperately needs this so maybe put the peddle to the meddle and leave the slow burn to those that don't need it.

If they have a ppv this month, they need to spell it out that yes we have Omega doing something big here so keep watching.

Next PPV isn't until Hard to Kill in January not counting Final Resolution and I think Genesis is also before HTK...but those are just "Impact Plus Specials" which aren't on the same level....I wonder how much Impact actually makes on PPV to still have those 4 or 5 actual PPVs a year that I can't watch with my subscription
