What a great way to undermine SummerSlam with Payback one of the weakest PPV names ever, the name itself implies that SummerSlam won't resolve shit. It sort of worked with Backlash a month after Mania to finish up the loose ends before the summer programs but this way to damn soon. Usually I am all for more wrestlin', more PPVs but this is just ill-advised timin' that makes your second largest PPV of the year look like an afterthought before the show even has taken place.

EC said last night that they just wanted to milk the Amway Center (or wherever the fuck they booked for the next couple weeks of shows) as much as they could and I think he's right

It’ll probably be a ton of rematches. Someone said earlier, Summerslam probably won’t be the blow off for a lot of feuds.

Orton wins the belt; he and McIntyre run it back. The continuation of the Bayley/Sasha(maybe even Asuka) angle. I feel like either the US title or tag titles are gonna have a fuck finish. Can have a rematch with a stipulation.

Let’s not forget, it wasn’t that long ago WWE was doing PPVs every 2 weeks. It sucks and it’s not ideal but it’s not unprecedented

It's probably what they do although it feels a bit laboured - would be better for Randy to squash some goobers and tell Drew he won't stop until he gets a proper rematch where you can only win with your finisher or something. Gives Drew the babyface opportunity to protect the lockeroom from Randy or something
