I guess this forum is lucky, or unlucky LOLOLOL, because I never take pictures with my glasses on. I got glasses in grade 7, they were supposed to be just reading glasses, but, being a kid who wanted to be cool, I said fuck no, I ain’t wearing glasses and that same year I had to go back to get my eyes checked and I have to wear glasses all day.

Wear your reading glasses, kids, no matter how big they are or how cool you want to be without them.
Damn nerd.

Why not wear contacts, though? If you don't like glasses. Personally, I had issues wearing contacts at first. I actually had bad vision (nearsighted, likely due to all the computer, especially WEF, and gaming as a kid) and only recently decided to get it handled. Stupid decision, waiting so long, but contacts are pretty easy to handle and also stop you from having to see the frames of your glasses.

I ain’t sticking shit in my eyeballs lol

I am weird with my glasses like sometimes I hate them, other times I am happy to have them. I’m bipolar with glasses. They just always look stupid in pictures to me lol

You ever thought of doing that laser eye surgery

I had the same kind of reaction as you. When I first went to my eye doctor I couldn't even successfully put the contacts in. I found different videos on YouTube of ways to put them in, and found one from 2009 or so that was crappy quality but worked the best. You just have to train yourself. Now, I could stick my finger in my eye and not flinch, but before, I'd always involuntarily close my eye.

It sounds bad to put something in your eye, but it really isn't. You not only get used to it, but it probably takes me 1 minute a day to do all of the following: put contacts into my eye in the morning, put contact solution into my case, and take contacts out and put them into the cases at night. It's super easy and quick.

Then there's laser surgeries... but not everyone can get those and it could potentially be painful.

I considered the surgery years ago but I know a guy who did it and after a bit it wore off apparently and he since did it again and had the same outcome so he gave up. I’d rather not have to pay all that money for failure lol

my eyes get stronger each time I go and my “blindness” isn’t even that bad. People try on my glasses and it’s barely an issue to see with them. I just assume I’ll naturally not need them one day lol
