In the main event of the evening at UFC 130, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson stuffed all of Matt Hamill's takedown attempts and cruised to a unanimous decision in this light heavyweight affair.

What was the high spot of this fight?

There's not a lot to pick from, to be honest. Rampage wobbled Hamill in the second with a big punch, then starting lighting up Hamill's body with punches and knees. Hamill was never in any serious danger though.

Where do these guys go from here?

Quinton Jackson's path is pretty well-defined going forward - a title shot against Jon Jones. But it comes with a big caveat - Rampage entered the fight with a fractured hand, and he would have to be cleared by doctors before the UFC would sign off on the fight. If his hand is too damaged, Lyoto Machida would likely get his title shot and Rampage could possibly get the winner of the Rashad Evans vs. Phil Davis fight at UFC 133.

Hamill campaigned for this fight, hoping that a win over an established star like Jackson would set his career afire. Unfortunately for The Hammer, Rampage made him look outclassed and unworthy of a main event spot. His next fight will likely be against someone closer to his level, perhaps the loser of the Alexander Gustafsson vs. Vladimir Matyushenko matchup that is the UFC 133 card.

Watch it now, later, or never?

Later, if at all. It might just be better to read all about it. Jackson's performance wasn't bad, but he spent a lot of the early part of the fight looking to counter and with Hamill unable to get anything going, the fight dragged at times. Rampage picked up the pace at the end of the second and for parts of the third round, but basically it was just a one-sided beating that was never seriously close to being stopped. If you only have time for a couple of fights from this card, definitely give this a pass in favor of more exciting bouts.
