So I remember last year and the year before there being a lot of talk about Sting retiring, and him actually coming really close at the previous BFG until Hogan was signed. Anyways, I got to thinking about how, while I love Sting, he pretty much doesn't do anything for me anymore. I think it would be good as far as Sting, and for this years BFG's drawing purposes to see Sting retire. Do you think he will?

It is so hard to predict now as I expected him to retire three years ago yet he keeps signing one year deals to stay in TNA. I really think that it is time for him though, he would be a very expensive performer especially since he performs a limited amount of dates and they could use that money more efficiently. He isn't really pushed that strongly anymore as a main contender as they have wrestlers like AJ, Anderson, Pope, Joe, Angle, Hardy etc. who will be pushed ahead of him and rightly so. He is just a bit player these days and at the money he is on he isn't worth it. He should retire whilst he is still alright in the ring rather than going too long like Flair, Hogan and Nash.

Plus he can then work a DVD deal with WWE and he might even be inducted by WWE in the HOF so again he can earn plenty of money from those two things to keep him happy.

I lost interest in Sting years ago. I have nothing against the guy and over the years have enjoyed much of his work, loved his matches with the likes of Ric Flair, Big Van Vader, Rick Rude and even some of his later WCW stuff. And I think he has been a big part in TNA gaining a bigger fan base, but really his time was up about three years ago. His matches are avenge at best, the character he currently plays has no more milege left in it, and it seems he has no desire to put younger talent over. So it is a case of thank-you Mr Sting and enjoy your retirement.
